you are in a small minority with your view. And wrong.

Only for the cost though? At what price does it become good-looking?

Everyone is entitled to their opinion - even if it is wrong smile

Early zondas were lovely . These new things with scoops and vents and bits of carbon added everywhere are repulsive .
You have to be vary careful with the interior or it looks like a Parisienne bordello .

Borderline between cool and very naff the zonda .

This.

Have a look at this http://www.gtspirit.com/2014/03/03/geneva-2014-pag... and it is a perfect example of overkill. If it had been done by anyone other than Pagani there would be the usual 'crashed through Halfords' comments. The front is quite frankly ridiculous and not is a good supercar mental kind of way.

I actually wonder if he continues to pour out more and more stupid additions if it will actually begin to hurt the value of the Zonda, which in standard form is a beautiful and, most importantly, simple design.

I remember threads a while back on how the AMG engines were "impossible to source" unless sufficient numbers were ordered and that there would never be another Zonda. Either he's ordered enough engines to AMG to turn the taps on again or those stories weren't quite accurate.

Not a great example to be fair. That is a Zonda R variant and therefore a track only car. Those additional wings and splitters etc are for more down force and speed. Race cars are not built to be pretty

And I was the one that supplied that infor. The "Street" engines are no longer available, mainly because they are not emissions compliant anymore. They can be ordered in a minimum batch of 5 but Zonda could have trouble registering the cars. Also they are stupidly expensive

The Engine in the Blue R above is a 6 litre AMG race engine therefore does not need to comply with anything really. If you can afford one AMG will build it.

The new Zonda's that seem to keep appearing are actually Zonda F's in the main that are being upgraded, usually after a crash

I'm very familiar with zondas and a worrying number of cars are going back for " updates" which usually entails tacking on ridiculous diffusers , carbon slashes , snorkels and scoops .
I don't like them and I dislike the track car even more I'm afraid .

I know for a fact that he's owned 2 Veyrons and has a 918 Spyder on order (and a P1 but is selling it on).

But he's still a massive bellend.
How do you know that for a fact?

I'm not calling you out, I'm just genuinely interested to know.

If he's owned such cars, why bullst about owning a Zonda that resides on the other side of the world?

It's cringeworthy and downright bizarre.

Don’t worry about it mate, the world would be a very boring place if we all liked the same thing. I for one tend to prefer an unadorned Zonda F. But on the flip side the original black and white Cinque coupes were also very special

Seen that in the flesh. Was lovely but interior colour and gold wheels weren't for me.

Me to, infact was lucky enough to get a ride, absolutely fabulous machine, and somehow I love the colour scheme. Even though when you describe it sounds terrible, but the reality for me was it looks stunning. smile

his twitter feed says it's sold, but not sure if that means he has sold it to DK (for a nice profit) or DK have sold it.
he did not have it that long, wonder what he will replace it with.

As it is already LHD it could be ideal for darksider if he hasn't already bought the GJ.

How about this one from Japan? http://www.bingosports.co.jp/StockDetail1/shop_632... Would make a great base for a Cinque conversion. Emailed dealer a while back asking about price but no reply.
