god, i didn;t have this many jitters the day before i got stitched up with the misses
deal isn't going smoothly so as it's a lot of hard work, really focuses your mind.....
and over the weekend there was an orange g on autotrader which the guy sold to his friend over me...
made me realise i had overlooked this car's ad for 22 days before i eventually looked at it....
made me realise i really do like the leary colour cars... lime/yellow/orange
reflected on what batman said re what cars do you rue missing out on.... all leary coloureds!
reflected on what others have said re if you are spending 90k get precisely what you want....
now i am totally confused..... who said buying a car was easy!

don;t make sense to me, i've offered 87k for the car, if it passes a ppi with emblem...
he will never get that sort of money on p/ex, whatever car he is trading into....
makes u wander if cars been kerbed etc soon after purchase, hence he wants rid, and would rather take less money from a stealer given they won;t ask for a ppi first...
all this assumes the car was offerred today by said vendor..... wtf!
If any doubt..back out.he will never get that sort of money on p/ex, whatever car he is trading into....

18 months!!! wow..... you must have the patience of a saint..
guess 6+ months is the norm, i will wait for the right colour car...
actually awoke this morning not to bothered sale was not going through this week...
lime/orange/yellow G coupe (sorry nero and grigio) and callisto alloys (any colour)
not too fussed re two tone interior, this would be a bonus and not essential
rest of specs as before!!

coupe, low miles, fsh, 06 onwards
extras that are almost essential.... glass engine cover, e gear (for resale purposes), non standard wheels
desirable.... titanium calisto wheels, two tone interior, calipers to suit wheels/colour of car, warranty
colours... yellow/orange/lime
icing on the cake.... recent clutch/tyres, lifting gear

i've got another very long week as the seller of the car i'm after is away!!
Not to sure about that, a trader I deal with was offered this car today, he's looking at an Audi apparently, so can't be away.on a side note, glad deal fell through as car now has 18k, not 15k as advertised!!!! never once did seller say mileage was now this..... 3k miles in under 6 weeks... more than some cars do in a year!
as sarnie said in another thread, key to selling is to provide all the information upfront....lots of details, pics, all info needed.... saves on crappy calls also.....
i reckon thats why jperform sell so well..... they never state 'fsh' but list dates and miles of all services and latest mileage..... and exact spec......
hope the next car is the one..... lambo birmingham was amazing on friday..... saw a reventon and aventador in the workshop, and a diablo vt out back..... best colour car g there was...... orange... i've been truly tangoed!

the interior of this i think is to die for....

and this is yellow, but lacks the engine cover....

budget creeps ever upwards!!!! i would have thought buying a lambo was fun... so stressful!!!

I know you've looked at newer cars but this seems decent to me. Spend a few grand on a clear engine cover and and some callisto's and keep about £30k in your skyrocket.....
saw this too..... before i started this thread i was looking at 04 cars.... yep, 25K goes a long way, but i'm hooked now on the benefits of a 06 onwards car...Sarnie said:
in my opinion of course.
a very welcome opinion indeed.....had an interesting chat with a dealer this week, he was surprised i would buy cash, saying that most businessmen would rather take the outlay, 'invest in things', and turnover a profit that offset the finance costs.... not being a businessman, i wouldn;t know what to do with the money....
i defo choose the wrong line of work, don;t get wrong, i love what i do, and am content with life, but some of the garages on here are a petrolheads dream....

this has a 'bra' covering most panels...... ie the transparent wrap covers the whole front, roof, engine cover, doors..... is this a plus or a negative.... don;t know if it is 3m or not, do they peel/discolour... will it remove the pearlescent look of the yellow paint?Gassing Station | Supercar General | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
