Took the coupe on a 600 mile round trip to the lakes at the weekend to attend a wedding. Great trip, comfortable seats and some great roads (apart from average speed cameras set at 40 on M6)

Also staying overnite was a red 360 with a dodgy number plate. He chose to request a garage for the nite - tart!

Wife wants to take the kids nextime, wont be quite the same in an Isuzu Trooper!

I havent been up to the lakes for about 10 months now. Last time I was there we stayed in a place called Sedburgh. I havent done the trip in a F-car as yet, it has always been a 911. But a blast around Windemere and across the Buttertups Pass (a nervous passenger is not advised) is recommended

The A591 from Ambleside to Keswick is a great road.

Roger That - we were in that area on a field trip a while ago. It was certainly fun in a fast minibus
