Hi first post here. I believe it was the prototype for the 365GTBB (Boxer). I have been lucky to see it in person, I have normal photos if I can find them I will scan and post.

Nice motor! Think the circular ashtray looks a bit out of place and maybe a little excessive.

Thanx sorry about the difficulties involved. Yes I was wondering why someone would have a bucket in a unique and very expensive car when I saw it.

How many were build? Do you have some more ins and outs? The car looks lovely, even in white. Very Dino-ish.

I'm afraid this is all I have I was using an ordinary camera (this was years ago) and I've had to scan them. As far as I am aware this was a one off prototype that led to the creation of the Dino and later the Boxer. Has anybody else got any piccies?

or even better, join www.fcars.co.uk

This is the UK based off-shoot of F.Chat that came about because the Texan owner started being a bit extreme in his moderating powers!

P5 must be based on 512 racer? Yes.

It reminds me of the Jaguar XJ13...

The pictures are of a 356P. It was first seen at the Paris motor show in 1965 and used a detuned version of the 4.4 litre V12 seen in the 365GTB/4.
