Maybe looking to get my car wrapped, has anybody had the experience of doing so, anything i need to particularly be aware of, any particular companies that i should look to use? Car is a gallardo if this makes any difference.

Cheers

I know I live in the arse end of nowhere but I use these guys for my companies stuff. they are excellent and very diligent. I know I wanted the murci wrapped for my wedding and had a design made up - recommend these guys for designs. Scott is st hot. Never had it done as run out time. Car got a cob on when in Le Mans on my stag doo, only just got it back from Lambo HW in time for the wedding. Cost was gonna be circa £2k excluding design

Van Wraps are meant to be good.

Not sure if Vinyl Creations do them too.

I've had my 911 done.

Design by www.racewraps.co.uk and implemented by www.raccoon.co.uk

I can recommend both and have a good track record (gumball etc)

Cheers

Nick

Mine has been on for 6 months now. there are a couple of chips in the front (rather that than the paintwork) These can be repaired though.

I also have a small air bubble on the side of the rear wing.

To be honest if you look for the imperfections you can find them, however My understanding is that modern lambos are very good candidates as they have more flat panels.

This is the finished result and I am very pleasd.

How many of our cars are THAT perfect that we don't notice things when we wash them anyway?!!

I like the design biggrin

After 6 months one would exepct stone chips (etc) in anything!

They used a mild solvent which removed any residues of wax etc then got sticking...

apparently the 3m material used lasts for 10 years. I suspect that this is if its placed on a flat panel and left in a dark room though.

PolarExpress has had his GT3 Manthey wrapped for about a year. Done by racoon as mentioned above.

Was out at the PH Sunday Service last Feb and looks great thumbup

I believe the car had a Paintshield protection underneath the wrap.

Had mine wrapped last week in a matt gunmetal...very happy with the result but, as said before, if you are looking for imperfections you will always see something!

Mine was done by Totally Dynamic. Experience in various events (Gumball etc) and track record looked quite good.

Max

I am not surprised, that looks absolutely awesome. A definite candidate for Pic of the week and my new desktop.
