Hi
Can anyone suggest a good place to go for an insurance quote on a F355B? Websites such as BellDirect and Admiral don't even list a Ferrari!!

Thanks

A

Budget Insurance were able to get me a good quote on my lovely, lovely 355 that I'm going to collect in a couple of days

Edited to say: the quote was a few quid cheaper if I added my Dad as a named drived for some reason.

I used Privilege for my 355 spider (24yrs old with full NCB, living in London, £3600, £300 excess)

www.privilege.com

360 spider, Nowell and Richards, 25yrs old, full NCB, living in London, £2600, massive excess though!! Otherwise most places will charge you £8K.

Try A-plan, Tescos, usual suspects. There was a thread here before, do a search on it.

If you are over 30, Chubb have a special policy with Ferrari. Call Maranellos.

You could try Heritage Classic £850 for 5k miles per year, £500 excess

or give Tina Maskell a call at MRIB brokers, 01494 450011 she works hard to find a solution

Age is going to be a key thing, I think Liverpool Victoria require you to be over 30.

I'm 25, 3yrs NCB paying £1300 on a F355 Spider through Footman James limited to 3k miles per yr. The next best quote was Tesco's which was £2200 but with a 9k miles per yr limit. I had to call Tesco's as they wouldn't give me a quote over the net.

Just to add another example to the numbers floating around here, I'm 28 and Paying £1526 with both my (retired) parents on the policy (not that I'd ever let my Mum drive it!), no garage, no milage limitations and it's a 95 Berlinetta insured through Zenith Insurance PLC.
