2005 Masers
Subtle updates for next years cars
Maserati have released details fo the 2005 versions of the Maserati Coupé and Spyder. They'll be available from September this year across the UK.
The main change externally is to the front bumper which now features a horizontally ribbed radiator grille, inspired by the Quattroporte. The rear bumper is also new and more dynamic featuring wide air intakes shielded by a black mesh grille.
The link with the Quattroporte continues in the Coupé with the classic oval-and-arrow badge now mounted on the rear side panels, as styled by Frua in 1963.
The interior of the Coupé and Spyder can now be contrasted with different coloured leathers for the central zone of the seats and dashboard, and the upper door panels. The instruments now feature new, sporty, blue and white graphics that are easier to read.
Seven-spoke alloy wheels are now standard to the cars while the fifteen-spoke rims remain an optional extra.
The aluminium-coloured kit on the console and the door will now be a standard item, and other modifications have been made to the interior with the central tunnel re-designed to provide a bigger storage compartment.
The final change is the announcement that Coupé and Spyder models now have a new metallic paint finish option with the addition of ‘Rame Ghibli’.

well let all those people who slag it off can u afford it
Nope I cant afford it, but just because something is expensive, it does not make it beautiful.
As an admirier of the original 3200Gt, each 'modifictaion' does nothing to enhance what was a beautiful shape.
As regards the quattroporte the jury is still out, I caught a fleeting glance of one few weeks ago, definately a bold and brave effort.... which will need to be bought by bold and brave people.
Will certainly stand out from the 7's, S Classes, LS430's And Jags
