How about a TVR meet in Fleet, Hampshire?

(I emailed Ted and he has given me permision to post here)

Whilst repsonding to a topic in the Chimaera forum here:

It became apparent that there are a lot of us TVR owners based in, or very near to, Fleet in Hampshire.

So, I think it would be great to get us all together for a "Mini Meet in Fleet" a few fellow owners in the Chimaera forum are up for it, so, over to you, who lives in or near the area, and would be up for a local meet??

Suggestions of dates, times and locations more than welcome

This is the first me I have organised, be gentle..

If we're looking for a pub specifically in Fleet, then perhaps the Oatshelf or how about the Foresters. The landlord in the Foresters is very friendly (just taken on the tenancy). It's also the regular meeting point for the Smart Car club, so they're used to meets.

Failing that, the Phoenix in Hartney Wintley is a regular venue for car club meets, including previous PH meets.

I need to get some "development" mileage in so any excuse for a run out, how ever there is a Brighton meet on the 28 March so i would rule that date out if i were you

Tony, are you coming along to the Brighton meet at the Seven Stars pub (Petersfield) on the 28th March? It'll be nice to see and hear that lovely Tuscan of yours again

Oh right! Fair enough. I'm thinking of joining the TVRCC (East Sussex) although I live in West Sussex! They seem to have a good programme of events organised throughout the year and their meeting place every last Thursday in the month is at a pub just down the road from me!

Anyway, if I don't see you on the 28th, have a nice time
