Northants Run V - May 8th

Various details of the second half of the run are still being thrashed out, but the confirmed details so far are as follows;

The Run Will be on Sunday May 8th

Main Meeting: 10:30am
Meet at Dove House Motor Company in Rushden at about 10:30, for an 11:00 kick off.

Pre-meeting 1: Northampton 9:30
As the start is over in Rushden, if anyone wants to join a mini-meet and then convoy over from Northampton, I suggest we meet at about 9.30 in front of Homebase at Riverside (NN3 9HU). Chris (bluecerbera) will lead this convoy over to DH for the main meet.

Pre-meeting 2: St Neots 9:30
This pre-meet is in the Market Square in St Neots at 9:45. Tony (zippee) will be leading this convoy over to DH.

After an initial natter, we'll set of from Dove House about 11:15. The first half will be a run out to the east, looping back to Dove House for a half time coffee. (and a good drool at whatever exotica is in stock !)

The second half will go across country back towards Northampton for optional lunch, compulsory drinks and talk of all things petrol !!!



Apologies to those who'd already mentioned that they were unavailable on the 8th. Rest assured, there'll be another !!!!

I have not been on a pistonheads run before but will try to make this one. Thanks Nicola for making me aware of it.

I am available to meet up in St.Neots as well as I live in Cambs.

afraid not mate, i'll most likely already be over at dh to greet the early arrivals there and sort out any final stuff. Chris(bluecerbera) will be leading the homebase meet over. Its about 20 mins. Oh sorry, chris is leading...make that 8 mins !!!!

Nigel,
The last run back in Feb was my first PH run, everyone was very friendly and welcoming to myself and the other newcomers there.
If you do come along then send me a mail through my profile and we'll meet up in St Neots for a mini convoy to the meet. The road from there to Rushden via Kimbolton is a great stretch and a good warm up for the run. That is provided the G/F doesn't decide to come along, else I'll probably struggle to be allowed to get enough speed up to to get the car to temp.

Yeah count us in, not sure who is driving yet though, we will go from Towcester to Northampton Homebase if anyone is passing via A5/A43

Obes: Anyone with a soft top left up will not be given the route, is that fair?

I'll be coming up the A5, though normally through Roade, sure we can join up somewhere along the way - especially as I don't know where Homebase in Northampton is!

It's the one at riverside retail park you want. Off the A45/A43 roundabout.

I went on my first run with these guys in Feb and can vouch for their friendliness - bit nutty and weird maybe - but friendly all the same.
