BMW Sunday Service: 19/06/11

It's time for our annual visit to sunny BMW UK's Bracknell HQ

Rain stops play - at least it does for wimpy cricketers - but it doesn't stop the PH Sunday Service at BMW. Due to a unique weather system around Bracknell, we are often under a stormy cloud when we visit for a Sunday Service (could it be because we normally visit in November?? - Ed), but this year will be different and we want you to be there to witness it. Four hundred of you, to be precise.

Once again, for those who are unfamiliar with the format, a Sunday Service is all about spending a Sunday morning in the most PH of ways. Arrive, park up, head to the restaurant for your choice of breakfast, before heading outside to wander amongst the PHers' cars. In addition, BMW will be showcasing the rather fabulous 1-Series M (read all about it on PH here), along with other cars from their heritage collection.

This includes an E30 M3 and a 3.2 CSL Batmobile. If that isn't enough you'll also be able to browse (and purchase from) the PH shop and perhaps engage in a bit of light bartering (if you have a chicken or a goat to swap for a T-shirt - Riggers can get hungry).

The good fellows at BMW have sent someone out to count up the available Tarmac and we are pleased to announce that we have 400 spaces to fill at the 19th June event, making this another big Sunday meet. As per usual you'll need to sign up on the calendar to secure your space and to make sure you can pass the burly gate staff (well, the PH team) without being turned away.

Also as per usual, gates will open at 09.00 and BMW will ever so politely kick us out at 13.00.

In addition, thanks to our sponsors at Adrian Flux, you'll also receive your exclusive Sunday Service sticker (only available to those who attend the meet) along with your 'Order of Service' telling you what's happening on the day as you arrive.

Our thanks go to BMW UK for allowing us to return, and we look forward to seeing you there on the 19th.

Was a great event last year, with the exception of a few people dicking about and drifting the roundabout.

Looking forward to it again!

Everything (life, driving, the law) should really be covered by one simple rule: "Don't be a tt."

Agreed. Don't even need lawyers to approve the fine detail of that condition.
