The Formula Ford 2000 Race late Saturday afternoon has over 30 cars in it - same no as 2CVs race but shorter (in time on the track for clarity ). This is the other big event for the weekend. Look out for the yellow car - No 28. Feel free to say hello in the paddock if you are walking around.

If an alien landed on earth and demanded that I describe a Formula Ford to him, I think I can safely say that "the same as a 2CV but shorter" would not be the first thing to spring to mind!
Good luck in the race!

Good point. Post suitably amended to make clear that I am referring to time on the track. Although, to be fair, a FF2000 is probably shorter than a 2CV.....
..and also probably lighter to lift when parked in the gravel at Druids during the Brands FFF. There's not many cars that you can carry out without waiting for a crane!
Well actually, I got pushed out of Druids. A trick with the FF2000 cars, the oil pump belt is exposed in the bottom of the car. If you come out of deep gravel, don't run the engine without checking the belt.......Don't ask me how I know.....Needed a new engine anyway.....

I was just amazed that none of you drowned in that rain!
