You'll be able to walk around without problem.

It's only the parking in the Piston Heads area which is policed.

As has already been said above, there is a normal public car park (which I've never been to yet).

I'm hoping to get on the reserves list so I can park my car in the Piston Heads area, if not I'll just park it in the normal car park.
So what is the difference between this PH event and a normal day out to MB World then?

Dedicated parking for lots of interesting cars.

That and the opportunity to buy PH merchandise. winkhehe

And the plethora of "taster" sessions on their track / off road course that they do not normally offer unless you book a big party of people or a full day of driving.

If you're coming off the M40 and down the A34 might be worth touching :base with:

http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a...

Or the Berkshire TVRCC who may put something together, often detouring via the Heathrow tunnels

I'll be coming down the M40 too from Junction 10 and could meet at Beaconsfield Services?

Hi Ollie
At a SS like this which is based at the site of a Brand/Manufacturer and the parking is an easily accessible area, can there be a parking area for Mercedes and AMG's nearest the building so they can displayed together. Easily done as it's just cones on the tarmac and a quick count of Mercedes / AMG cars can be done from the list on Friday?
Then if you are particularly interested in the featured Marque you don't miss anything and if you're not you can walk on past!
AFAIK,PH never do this.
We're all equal, whether you turn up in a McLaren,Mercedes or Mini.
And all the better for it too. It's much more fun to have a wide variety of cars to look at.

The only way I've seen to do that is to organise yourselves before and come in convoy. Far better IMO to have all kinds of cars next to one another.

Hi. At the momemt I'm on the 'reserve list'. I was hoping to arrive at around 8.30am and, ideally, park up with all the other cars rather than the public car park. But as i'm on the 'Reserve List' please could I clarify what the process is? Ah what point in time will organisers know or decide that they are setting a 'cut off' point by when if any of the first 600 cars haven't turned up then when can the reserve list people get in? And how would those of us on teh reserve list be notified as such? Many thanks

I am very interested in attending this event and was wondering if there is any non-show parking? I have only just bought this Fiesta and it is no where near decent condition! Plus, there are far better cars that should get a space on this oversubscribed event!
Thanks in advance

Sadly had to drop out of this one (went to the last 2 and really enjoyed them) but my mate has a spare ticket for Goodwood Members Meeting so I will be there instead!

At least it means someone else gets on the list - MB world is a great venue so have a great day everyone!

No - all cars need to be moved by 14:00 as they have other activities on the runway (which is the bit we use for parking)

It is complicated and by no means a perfect system... but it is all we have for now. So, this is how it works: The list will keep moving throughout today and tomorrow morning as people decide that they can't come... but by lunchtime tomorrow (Friday) we take it as the confirmed attendance list. After this point we assume that everyone on the list will show up and we penalise anyone who doesn't turn up (we take a register on the gate). So on this basis, if you're not on the list by tomorrow lunchtime you can assume that you're not coming. However... if people continue to remove themselves after tomorrow lunchtime (they'll still be penalised for not turning up), the calendar automatically adds people on the waiting list onto the attendance list. As such, the best thing to do is to look at the list before you go to bed on Saturday evening and if you're on the list then come along and do your best to explain what has happened to however is manning the gate!

But PLEASE DO NOT COME if you are on the reserves list and haven't made it on to the attendance list.

So there you go... as clear as custard no doubt!
