Bugger, I'd better get polishing....
Or you could ask the Auto Glym guys very nicely on the day.
They want a car to practice, I mean demonstrate on.
Any volunteers?

Doesn't look like it's still on Gary, got a leaflet for Beaulieu and it says "new for 2012 for one year only" regarding the Bond exhibit. I am willing to be corrected though smile

Sounds like an absolute joy of a day! Much like some of the other visitors I'm only young and poor so I'll not have much in the way of impressive metal, but turning up to just see what others have brought and having a good day with other car enthusiasts would be a grand day out.

Just posted this on the Ford Focus ST owners club, hoping to get a few of us there... Just a question that was raised was, are we required to book on here to allow entry or is the booking purely for interest in numbers?

Heres the Link to the FSTOC thread

Hi Rory.
Its best to book in on the Main calendar so we can keep an eye on numbers, plus we want to seperate ourselves from the general public as we have a reduced entrance fee. If you have friends that want to attend we would prefer you to add them in the notes section ( ie +1 or +2 etc), or you can vouch for them on the day.
We will be updating in the next few days with some more good news, so please keep reading the posts.
Hope this helps and see you there smile
Jamie

PS Another reason for it to go onto the Main Calendar, is that Beaulieu has asked for me to contact them a few days before to confirm numbers, so that they can ensure that they have enough staff to get us through the gates and parked up as quickly as possible. They will be taking the money at the gate and they have also requested that by having the correct money will make it more swift.

I have also arranged with New Forest County Council the free use of one of their pay and display car parks in Lyndhurst as one of two final meeting places for us. This will get us off of the main road in a safe place before our final drive down together. The post code for the car park is SO43 7NY. The other place is Rownhams Services, West Bound side
So one convoy will come in on the A326 and the other will be on the B3056. arriving together at Beaulieu unless you just want to meet us at Beaulieu Car Park if you do not want to come in with the convoys.

Final times will be put on in a couple of days time but we hope to arrive at Beaulieu about 9.45am, I hope that people will arrange to meet others and have their own convoys down too
Hope this helps clarify a few more details.

Will be in touch soon

Shelly

I'm from the STOC and as requested I've added myself to the calendar. I've also put my brother in law on there too, he'll be attending in his RS with his family (hope the way I've done it is ok?)

Cheers,
Rob

They been saying on local radio they have some stuff from Skyfall on the James Bond exhibit. Oh, and the P45 from Top Gear

From their website

BOND IN MOTION, here at the National Motor Museum, is the largest official collection of original James Bond vehicles anywhere in the world. After a successful first year, we are delighted to announce that the exhibition has been extended for a further year until 5th January 2014.
