RE: Ginetta Sunday Service 20/12
Discussion
As others have said, thanks to everyone at Ginetta & PH for putting on a great Sunday Service, clearly Mr. Tomlinson has a great deal of passion for motorsport & his sports cars and this is obviously shared with the Ginetta team. The tour was very interesting and it was very encouraging to see good British engineering and creativity at work in a modern but traditional environment (if that makes sense?) and all hand built, no robots etc. This is what gives cars character and emotion (the earlier poster moaning about panel fit etc. is missing the point I'm afraid!).
Looking forward to the next SS, Merry Christmas & Happy New Year to all PH'ers.

to re-iterate what everyone else is saying, MASSIVE thankyou to the PH staff and Ginetta for todays SS. Thoroughly enjoyed and a big insight as to what goes into these cars,a lot of passion!
Can't wait for the PHSS to start again in 2016
p.s. I was in the orange Mini parked to the left of main doors...if anyone noticed it.

I was admiring your car, even got a pic of my daughter stood next to it. I was the one saying 'don't stand so close, don't touch it, careful!' etc We were in the red Masterati parked down the end of the same row.
Haha, me and my lad were in turn admiring your loverly Maserati parked on the end of that row. Gutted we missed you departing as I after 3 hours of questioning (he's only 9) which car I'd buy, I finally persuaded him the Maserati was the most characterful in the car park.Looked fantastic!
We only came from Rothwell, first ever Sunday Service - we quite fancy some more. Huge thanks to Ginetta and PH. Always had a thing for Ginetta after grabbing the best paddock picture ever (and most wildly inappropriate).
Really great event, thanks to everyone at Ginetta and Pistonheads for organising. Spotted Lawrence making his escape just after the welcome speech, as he was off skiing!
Also great to see ANOTHER Volvo Polestar (Didn't get to meet the owner though ) and get a couple of side by side photos
Polestar shining bright here . . .

Just wanted to say a big thank you to PH for today's SS we thoroughly enjoyed it, and a special thanks to Ginetta, and all its staff for making us so welcome in their factory with complimentary tea, coffee, drinks, and nibbles, a nice touch. All the staff were very friendly and approachable.
We arrived just around 9am, and although our tour wasn't till 11.50am there was plenty to see, people to chat with. The factory tour was very interesting and even though ours was almost an hour and a half - Group 13, 11.50am - it never felt rushed nor boring - even my wife enjoyed herself! Interesting to see the carbon fibre production with the different weights of components and how the in-house team improved the weights etc. The Engine shop and the exploded £60 -70k bespoke GT3 Nissan V8 was a highpoint for me.
Nice to get a taster glimpse of the G57 in mock up/pre-production.
Special mention for the black Skyline which was beautiful and a real credit to whoever owns it on here. Not a swirl mark in the paint!

Cheers everyone! It was a fantastic first Sunday Service for me, made my little (very standard) MX5 feel very out of place... There were some stunning cars there, maximum kudos to the R32 and the Focus sleeper! Ended up having to take a rather gentle cruise back home as my LSD lunched itself as I was leaving! :/
Just a few of my favorite snaps from today:

What a great morning! Thoroughly enjoyed it from start to finish, the Staff are a real credit to the company. Great tour, lasted a lot longer than I was expecting! To see the cars in component form was fantastic. Highlights for me were definately seeing the carbon fibre process and seeing the space frames on the Jigs ready for welding.
Thanks to PH, Ollie and of Course Ginetta for their hospitality.
