There have been a couple of incidents in the past, a Cerbera got driven into by a Numpty, also heard of someone trying a bit hard coming off one of the roundabouts in a place you wouldn’t want to get it wrong.

ah, i know what you are referring to now - opposite a certain dealership where you wouldnt want to give the impressions TVR's dont handle as well as certain other marques...

sorry, just got a feeling you were warning of cameras or Bib in heavy attendance. see you sunday

You should be OK. The golf clubs in the boot should balance the car perfectly....

If anyone around the Reading area wants to meet at Thames Valley Park (end of the A329(M)) and head in to VW "en masse" from there, give me a shout.
I'm thinking around 11:30 so we can be at VW for midday?

Wish I could make Sunday but Bennno has decided to have his sproglet christened and I'm Al Pacino for the day!! Godfather

It's not a sportscar. Its a GT car. You'll discover how quick it goes when you try to keep up in that wheelie bin of yours on the way to Le Mans. I have heard that even Mel the hairdressers Boxta has more power than your flying bogie....

Sorry I cant help with the Werthers originals, to make up I have booked an AA van in case the coolant kit I have in my boot doesn't sort your garden ornament out....

so now we have Q cars, GT cars, all these initials are confusing me. Q cars are because they have a queue behind them, what are GT cars - Grandad Tourer?

Mels cart tart does have more bhp than the green mean machine. But then so does a Chieftan tank - its about power to weight - hence your car was quicker after you finished with hospital meals than before. Besides, mel will be too concerned that if he goes over 130mph his leather hat will be blown off.

And I neednt even rise to the bait about the AA and the TVR - feel free to tell me if the Maserati has stopped jumping out of gear yet....

True. Mel wont go over 60 for fear of losing his Freddie Mercury tash, leather hat and making his Communards CD jump. So you should be infront of him if you can retain enough coolant to keep your wheelie bin together.

Maser is fine thanks (Grand Tourer actually) only seems to hesitate when cold but when I drove 200 miles there and back to work yesterday it was fine, but Maser are having a look at it next week to make sure, they think it may be a small glitch in the software. It wont need an engine rebuild and I wont have to have the trim put back together and the car fully resprayed while it's in.....how is your new gearbox by the way?

Should your Le Mans passenger want to leave the TVR sponsored sauna and peel the fake leather imitation seats from their legs, tell them my large rear seats are available in air conditioned real leather bound luxury. While we cruise with the stereo on in my 370bhp (real bhp, not easops fables TVR bhp) steed we can laugh at you while you watch your temp gauge in abject fear.....

why do I feel like a Mel and Jones sketch?

The passenger may well take you up on the offer of a seat in the maserati. She said when she needs a nap then a boring quiet car like that would prove a suitable vehicle.

at least when my RV8 engine has a problem you can get an onion-round-the-neck froggie garage owner to take a spanner to it. When the maser "software" goes wrong you will have to telephone the UK helpdesk operator who will tell you to "log out and re-boot". I am taking an accelerator cable and some relays - you best take a spare hard drive, modem and some floppy discs.

new gearbox? ah you mean the linkeage. Well the repair cost was only a few quid more than your weekly pension grandad.

I wont need a garage as my car is reliable. and I think you will find there are at least 10 times the number of Maser dealers than TVR dealers in france. It's not the engine you need to worry about it's the rest of the car. Lets hope the coolant kit does the trick.....or you will both be in my car!!!

and my car isn't quiet....as you will see when you are behind it.....for the entire journey.

so why do they need 10 times the number of maserati dealers what with them being so reliable?

or is it just for sales meaning they are a common car?

coolant kit is to assist bearing in mind I am doing 2000 in 35+ degrees. Thought being fibreglass and all attack is the best form of defence. I must say it wasnt so amusing in the S3 last year sat there with the roof on due to the boot being full of beer, heaters on full blast to avoid overheating. But hey, TVR's are worth it. if you arent turning into an old git.

Not sure if you have heard the sports conversion on the chim yet - if not, believe me the maser will seem quiet
