Apologies if this has been asked before - I had a quick search and couldn't see - but can my dog attend? Is a deal breaker for the gf.

thanks,
Have a look on the Santa Pod website to be certain.

Thanks for the help gents..

I phoned up: No dogs allowed. A shame as we didn't take him to the most recent Goodwood SS and then saw a couple of mutts walking about. Also he loves being sick on the back seats of my 996.

ETA: I should've just read the disclaimer that was emailed to me. Oops.

Grandstand is nearly always open. Cant see why it isnt.

Ps tickets not available on the day for drag racing (phoned up yesterday).
Email tickets so can be bought anytime up to the event I think.
In case anyone is worried about weather, or wants to see how the strip works before they commit, I asked Ollie Moore (he who emails us all) about drag strip run tickets on the day and he just confirmed:

Hi David,

Tickets will be available on the day for those who want to join in,

Kind regards

Oliver

I too phoned SPR who told me they weren't organising the racing so couldn't help.

See your email from Oliver Moore.

"Starts 8.30. Ends 12.30 unless purchased race tickets" (not sure if that means racing continues...?).

Ah sorry see it now

Seems really early when they had 200 race tickets available

Some of us have another event in the morning not sure how this will work now

I really thought this would be an all day event especially with rwb

The rwyb is pretty much all day until maybe 4 or when you get more/car blows up.

Nice to get conflicting information! I specifically asked can we buy them on the day lol.

usually at Santa Pod if it's rained off and you attend with a valid ticket they will exchange it for a voucher on any other RWYB day.
not sure if that's the case here too.

I added my name to the list last night so have missed the boat for confirmation emails. Can I just turn up? Also, are the strip tickets for cars only or can bikes run?

Will parking be on the concrete (grandstand side) or on the grass where the camping is normally?

Does anyone know if motorcycles are allowed? Was going to go by car but my house is only a few hundred yards from the entrance to Santa pod and it doesn't seem fair to wake the car up for that smile
