Good sunny day! A funny start! Yes i followed down the A303 because a i looked at the hand out map to see a small pen mark on the 303 thinking that the route was going down to the micheldever exit and then roar back to the a33! But when i saw cars race off infront down to and past the A34 we just started to laugh and broke off down the A30 with a dark pearl purple Lotus and my friend shellz in her saxondale mustang and we got back on the A33 in the end!

We got to the half way pub in time to have a drink! shame they didnt open for us, they lost alot of money there!

The other moment was Petersfield! now i have past either side of that town so many times in my life and when i did go in for the first time the road was closed and then i followed the diverts and used what i did know of the area to get to south harling! I looked in my mirror to see a mass convoy of Fast cars follow suite and relised that i was mother hen! I hope my detour was fine with you all! I felt i had a weight on my shoulders then!

And then driving through Compton we cam across a cycling event and thought No all these sports cars coming face to face with cyclists! But i didnt hit one anyway! i just got them waving with thumbs up and big smiles across there faces as we went past!

Oh and then the Pony & trap convoy was great to see! again i hope on one got close to them!

I finish off the day with a nice Swim in the sea! Lovely!

Hi Shithotfast and all you other Pistonheads. It's really good to meet you all, i like the cars and the friendly faces. Who's is the lovely GT350?

I bumped into you purely by chance yesterday while i was hanging around in my Sublime Green 1970 Dodge Challenger 340 Convertible. A 340 small block, - not a Hemi, but I do own a Hemi as well, - a 1970 Plymouth 426 Hemi Cuda.

All the best,
Jim Wilson

Thanks Don
Thanks to white man van too!

Thank for the welington bomber fly past! that must of took some talking in too to get that to fly over our Picnic stop

Where you the guy calling the shots of the route! if so Cheers for the day! Its nice to mix her with modern muscle! I'am in to al sort of great cars so it was great to be with you all some of the time any way! I didnt see anyone in front which was a shame cos i didnt get a chance for a video of a convoy every one i saw was only behind me! so we had to concentrate to get down to the coast with out a map or sat nav! just a compass!

I Liked the group of TVRs!Ive always wanted one but i cant fit in one even when i detailed them i had to get a driver to bring it to me cos i simply tried but couldnt get my legs in and the drivers door had to stay open because i needed to remove my ribs! same as the VX220s i tried one and failed too which is a great shame because I'd love my wife to have one and us one for track days too!

Hi Shelbysteve, great to follow you down to the 7 stars pub. That really was a fantastic car and put some of the modern stuff to shame! The Saxondale one was cool too but you had the more classic lines. My Mrs liked the colour so much she wants to respray her Yaris T-Sport! Well, perhaps not. But it looked great. Hope to see you again on another run soon.

Always been a Mustang fan, especially since Gone in 60 seconds! I need an Eleanor in my life thumbup

Interesting start to the trip, but the weather was good and got to travel with some more cars from the 7 stars and some very quiet vx220's! Come on boys, they're supposed to be sports cars!

The Police woman appeared to have an odd sense of humour cop but at least she cleared off sharpish. Looking forward to another good PH run soon.

Yes Like wise! we liked the colour of your car too! It was a interesting mix with the 3 of us, aubergine pearl between a Daytona grabber Yellow and a pearl viper Blue, Mm! Totty fruity!

The Yaris would look cool in that blue!

Yes, look forward to meeting up again soon!

i feel that we could one day do a run including a thruxton go-kart fun race
