I can predict that I will make it all the way from being number 840 on the list to number 700 about 2 seconds before its cancelled

If Silverstone say it is OK to go ahead, but we have some snowfall tomorrow/Saturday, I reckon there would still be a decent turnout.

A tricky one to call as we don't want to force staff (PH or Silverstone) into travelling to assist in managing the event if they would rather not travel. I know PHers will arrive but the location staff (catering etc) may be less willing.

Let's keep fingers crossed for tomorrows chat smile

It was excellent, bit snowy though.
I recall there a PH event at the Ace Cafe a whole ago -snowfall and yet, if my memory serves me right, one guy turned up - he was dressed well for it, tweed jacket, cap et al.

The snow is falling where I am, just 6 miles from Silverstone, it's only a light dusting though atm.

Weather and stuff.....

Please keep an eye on this thread for posts from me throughout Friday and also your email inbox too. I will post here and send an email with updates tomorrow as I know more. Hopefully, all will be well and we will go ahead as planned....I'm sure it will.

A Sunday Service, last winter:
Please....if it is going ahead, in your mail can you ask those who are not going to attend to remove themselves from the list. Give us locals on the reserve list an opening smile I'm getting close to the in list now.

We now have a good 2 inches of fresh powder here in Silverstone village. Forecast for Friday is dry and Saturday is sunny all day, so should get the roads cleared by Sunday.

I have just removed myself from number 11 on the list. Hopefully someone else can make use of the space. Would have loved to go, but my Son was born Tuesday, 5 weeks early, and it might be a little soon and cold for his first piston heads meet.
