PHers Clay Shooting Meet 2007 - Bisley
Discussion
OK all,
I have confrmed the numbers with Bisley AND paid the deposit, so now is the time for you to pay me ...
For some reason the price for the Experienced shooters has reduced to £78, I don't have total confidence that this new price is actually correct, but since that is the basis on which I paid the deposit then its the basis on which I would like you to pay me. If it changes we'll resolve the final number on the day.
You should all have a mail from me asking you to pay as follows:
Beginners/Novice (ie groups A and B) please pay £39.00 per head.
Experienced shots please pay £38.00 per head.
Account details in the mail.
If you are paying for more than one, please multiply up appropriately ...
In both cases the remainder (£40) will be due on the day.
Please give a suitable reference - "PH <your name>" would be great - but in addition it would help A LOT if you could mail me once you have sent the payment to give me clue where the money is coming from - the reference doesn't always make it to my statement.
Any questions concerns/changes please mail me or post here.
Finally please also re-confirm if you (and your guests) are joining us for lunch.
thanks
Dan

any chance of paying this on the day?
It's a deposit, which Dan will forfeit if the participant doesn't show up, so that leaves him out of pocket, which is a little unfair, don't you agree?
If said "participant" hasn't paid their deposit prior to the event, how likely do you think it is that they'll pay afterwards?
Dan's gone to all the trouble of organising the event again, for which we're all very grateful, so I don't think he should be left praying until the last minute that everyone turns up, so that he doesn't end up with an expensive day out!
