Is this full already? I just tried to book but got this message;
Sorry, one of the items you tried to purchase is currently out of stock. Your card has not been charged.
It was full last week, Thruxton added some more space but that might all be gone now too I'm afraid. I'll check with them and get back to you!Sorry, one of the items you tried to purchase is currently out of stock. Your card has not been charged.
Skid pan no longer running
I'm really sorry to be the bearer of bad news on a Friday, but unfortunately the skid pan will no longer be running for us at the Sunday Service next week. There was a mix up when the event moved from the 10th to the 3rd of December, and unfortunately Thruxton have other bookings on the day, which is prohibiting Mission Motorsport from running our usual skid pan sessions.
MIssion Motorsport will refund everyone that has booked on. Once again, apologies to everyone who'll be disappointed about this but hopefully you can still make it along and we'll see you there!

Can you pay for the track walk on the day or is it spaces limited?
I've got an entry ticket but may or may not be bringing the family so don't want to pay for stuff I may not need to use.
Last year it was also possible to pay on the day and wasn't limited on space, so hoping/assuming it will be the same this year.I've got an entry ticket but may or may not be bringing the family so don't want to pay for stuff I may not need to use.

Have you tried the Thruxton website link recently? A friend got a ticket a day or two ago, and from a quick look they still seem available to me.
When I looked on Sat evening, it appeared there were no tickets available, certainly couldn't get anything into my basket to checkout. Will check again.JRC1 said:

So assuming tickets are indeed sold out.
Have you cleared your cookies? I got as far as putting in my details so quit as I have a ticket. Unless this is happening after that stage?"Sorry, one of the items you tried to purchase is currently out of stock. Your card has not been charged"

Evening all. Long term lurker and since a recent Golf R purchase, event attendee with a young 7 year old who is car obsessed.
Would anyone be able to give some advice on the format of the day? The event is a 09:00 start, does that mean cars arrive from 09:00? I'll be driving up from London and was keen to understand ideal times to soak up the atmosphere and enjoy the day.

Oh dear, 8 year old son was beside himself with excitement about this one. Do Mission Motorsport automatically refund? In fact this a lucky escape, as I’ve realised I booked the skid pan without realising it doesn’t entitle you to enter the actual Sunday service event and had forgotten to separately book a ticket for that - and it’s now sold out…

Congrats and welcome! Yes the bulk of cars will arrive between 9:00 - 9:30, so we recommend arriving early to make the most of it. Depending on the weather, people will start to leave around 10:30/11:00. So get here early and bring lots of warm clothes, it's very exposed so colder as a result.Would anyone be able to give some advice on the format of the day?
