What will be the latest date i can get a ticket?
I have a probable 6 month ban coming up due to getting caught by 4 scameras in 3 years.I will not know if i have my license back in time for pistonfest until i get a court date, but i really do want to go.
get a lift from a PHer with a nice car! It doesn't matter if you can't bring your motor!

This year we have plans to make tickets available on the gate so you can turn up on the day(s) at short notice if required. There will be incentives for pre-booking too.
will there also be tighter gate controls? as last year on the sunday you could get in without any checks just after lunchtime IIRC
Let's not get confused here chaps!
To gain entry to the venue, even as a pedestrian, you would have (or at least should have) been refused entry without a ticket.
Once inside the venue, you were able to walk wherever you wanted, including the PF enclosure, pits, grandstands etc.
The PF enclosure entry was un-manned after 2pm on the Sunday because the vast majority of traffic was heading in the direction of home & not entering the enclosure, and there were no fresh arrivals at the main gate after 1.30.
The last thing we want to do is cause un-neccessary queues inside the venue- it's bad enough putting up with this on motorways etc without having to do it to get around the venue before you park up.
Generally most visitors for the Sunday only had arrived by 11am, with the majority of PHer's opting for the weekend option, whereby the pass-out option was an easily recognised route into the venue- just a quick flash of the pass and you were waved through.
Most people have said that this system worked well, causing the minimum of delay getting into & around the site.
However, for PF2004, there will be 2 gates at the entry- one for PF ONLY, and the other for pedestrians & NSRA...hopefully this will speed access up with even greater efficiancy..........
If anyone has further suggestions about how we could possibly improve it even further, please let us know: pistonfest@pistonheads.com
