And blimey Roy, you didn't half shift down the M40 on the way back. I noticed I was doing 11* at one point.

I get bored on motorways! :sorryofficer:

Great day out. Well orginised, Matt.

Agreed, even though we didnt stay for Lunch, nagging wife "too many cars/people" we really enjoyed the run out and we've agreed to dump the SLK 320 in favour of a Cerb

Roy, everything OK with the yellow Griff in Beaconsfield ??

Yes a great day for a drive !! I hope there are a few more this summer!

Hughsie, I wondered were you dissappeared to....you made the right decision as the food took 1.5 hrs to arrive and was not worth the wait. The chavs also seemed to appear on mass from about 3pm onwards...

cheers
Whitey

PS. No they are not stonechips on the front of my Tuscan, they are "battle scars"

A big, big thanks all for an excellent turn out. I made it 35 cars which was fantastic.

Apologies about the Q into Henley, and the slow service at the pub - never seen it like that before. Next time I'll make sure that as well as sorting out the weather that all the roads are cleared of shopping trolleys as well ! Hopefully you enjoyed the rest of the route.

Had a fantastic 3 figure blast home with Rob Stone in his Cerb, excellent fun. We should do that more often.

We'll do another one soon - anybody got any ideas as to where to head for next - Le Mans maybe ?

Richard's Griff decided to take a long break (electrical problem), but eventually got going again and made it to Sandford.

Have to second everyone else in saying a big thanks to Matt and Brett for sorting this out.

Really enjoyed the day out and it is really good to see such a healthy turn out.

Was excellent to see people in the town centres stop and stare as we drove through
