It all depends on your budget really. There is a pretty good Premier Inn just outside Merthyr Tydfil next to a rather nice pub that does a good meal. Its only 20min from the meeting point and straight off the A470 so easy to access.Anyone recommend B&B , Hotel, etc close to the start as i don't know the area at all.

As an alternative there is the Nant Ddu Lodge about 10min from the meeting point in the Brecon Mountains. Again its easy to get too but is a lovely place with great food. Its not a budget stop though.
