Nice morning. I was not going to bother given the weather...but by 10am realised the roads were dry, intermittent sunshine, and as its only 30mins away...why not? Good call. Not a drop of rain.
Took an SLS for a spin on the track...mildly amusing.
Some photos below...quite Porsche biased...
I chanced it in my GT2 as I'm only 10 min away, planned was to lign up 4 996 GT2's but the weather put of the other chaps. Car will be on the grid at Goody next week weather permitting. Great morning and always a pleasure to be around fellow PHeaders. Roll on Le Mans.

Great photos Adam. 3 of my car and I particularly love this one.
Thanks for sharing.

Brilliant Sunday Service - well done to the PH chaps and the MBW for letting us back. Great mixture of cars too
I chickened out on the weather front, left the Stag and Jensen at home in favour of the 'normal' GolfR.
A few pics here... http://jonspriggs.com/pistonheads-sunday-service-m...
I have to say, I think the BiB were rather unsporting with their camera van... out at 08.30 on a Sunday morning on an empty A3 Northbound, and switched across the carriageway for the journey home - I have seen them there before, but 08.30 on a Sunday? They must have known it was a Pistonheads do...
2nd Edit: Just to add in as well that I thought the catering van was fantastic... A really nice bacon and egg bap, and a lovely cup of coffee. Really nice quality food. Thumbs up from me.

good day out and delighted i came down and missed the rain!
i took the sl63 out, i think i was the last to go out on the track! didnt bother me as i got extra laps and no traffic! fair to say the 560bhp gives that sl a bit of a shove! i was a tad nervous on the right hander onto the back straight to give it full 2nd as i think that would have been too much, nevertheless Im sure i tipped 100 on the straight. a nice piece of kit that SL i have to say apart from the gearbox which is too slow to down shift
i cant believe how early everyone heads off home

Super SS once again.
MB World did very well for us.
Popped over to Brooklands Museum in the afternoon to see the biggest gathering of MX5's I've ever seen!
Museum is brilliant too.
Looking forward to more Sunday worship
PS - Any snaps of the blue Evora S?
Is the blue Evora the replacement for your red Elan? I didn't get any pictures, but blue Evora was one of favourite cars there!MB World did very well for us.

Had an excellent day yesterday. Big thanks to all involved at MBW and PH for organising.
Mine was the LWB S class parked right at the front (2 ahead of the Jag E Type with sexy engine).
Had a drive in the SL63 AMG. Was first in line!
What a monster!
Gearbox caught me out in it's reluctance to downshift and also it's eagerness to drop down at the merest prod of the throttle.
Good fun and the instructor was great. Didn't hold me back. In fact he was encouraging me to push a lot more on the throttle and breaking points. Caught up an SLK63 which had to pull over for us to pass, so he gave me a couple of more laps to make up for it. Good fun and well worth the £30!
That S63 AMG they were using sounded broken after a few laps. Sounded like it needed some attention.
