Glad you all enjoyed it... some nice roads up that way. Has got me thinking about doing a good 2-3 hour 'run in that area instead of a kent run.

Thanks to Ron916spider for the walkie-talkies, really helped in keeping everyone together.

Yeah that Audi A1 shot off! I originaly came up behind it thinking "oh, not another sunday driver to spoil our fun!"

Peter255: Was you the blue ClioV6 on the M40 on the way home with the Yellow Chim 500?

He came racing up behind me when I overtook the line painting truck and I thought oh dear that's a copper cos the guy driving was wearing a collared shirt with a waistcoat/sweater thing!

Thanks Lee, was a good run. Seem to have wrecked the undertray on my Z somewhere en route but hey I`ve still got my 40p so not too concerned. thumbup
Was it where the road dipped after we took a left/right at what was almost a crossroads and down the hill? My A4 grounded out big time there!

He was hooning big time, saw him pull out and thought it would be some idiot that needed to be overtaken..

fked off down the road at some rate of knots! hehe

Who were the doggers in the bushes taking pictures of the cars? Pre-Arranged Tour Photographers? I feel famous now..

So who had the red Chimaera? We followed that from Reading Services and through Pangbourne etc, sounded utterly epic! Did anyone else spot the white pocket-rocked Audi A1?!

No idea! Only noticed it when I opened a window after pulling off the M20 and heard it dragging on the ground. Looks to have taken a whack in the middle and split it in half, not a problem. Gaffer tape and wait for one to appear on fleabay.

Jonny actually got rather angry with the Mondeo that got between us so we missed the noise bouncing off the walls in Pangbourne or however it's spelt!

Thanks to Lee for organsing the run, glad the walkies were useful. Well worth the early start. The pair of porsches in front of me from Reading services sound awersome. Looking forward to the next one!

Sorry I didn't make Guildford, took me longer to wake up the Junior from its 2 month hibernation than I thought, much to my neighbours annoyance! Arrived a few minutes late just to see the tail of white 911 leaving the roundabout. Didn't follow as I was desperate for a pee!
Anyway, 2 mins later Olive Truck arrived in the huge RR Ghost. So we convoyed alone which was surreal and very PH with my little Alfa and a whacking great RR wafting and revving through the A roads.

Was a cracking morning, thanks for organising Lee.

And thanks to the Red Brera for pointing out my missing rear lights as we went down A3.
A wire had jumped loose while I was fumbling to jump start in the dark, easily sorted at Guildford, the joy of old Alfas....yours will be like that one day wink

That was great fun, although must admit that the back steped out when we were making a right turn, but I had it all under control. Why is it pheasants seem to enjoy walking into the middle of the road ?
and the little old lady in the red corsa must of been wondering what was up as everyone blasted pass her.
Thankyou for sorting te route.
