Did sound lovely! Passed the word to my Mrs' Dad who has the Boxster GTS on order. Such a hoon machine!
I hope you don't mind but I've downloaded that photo to use as my desktop background. I think it's the best photo of my car anyone's ever got! The ring photographers only ever seem to get me gurning on the carousel. Thanks for your amazing photography skills! Do come and say hello at the next meet too (maybe nick your father in laws BGTS as well!)Cayman GTS by Jason.Easton, on Flickr

Another great SS and thank God the weather was good! Hats off to everyone on the 11:20 session, the standard of driving out there was very good, with folks watching their mirrors and positioning cars nicely. Apologies if the Ultima's arrival behind them startled anyone, Jason (silver Noble) & I were having a bit of fun playing follow the leader
I loved it mate! You passed me in the grey rs6 pretty quickly!! Not intimidating or anything, actually it looked and sounded phenomenal!! GrahamC230K said:

Cheers, it was good fun, but I've no idea what it sounds like on drive-by, I don't know if anyone has any vids? Great to see such interesting cars being properly enjoyed out there. Always loved the RS6, good to see you giving it large, too!356Speedster said:

Your Ultima ?Sounded lovely,a nice V8 burble but not silly noisy which probably wouldn't have passed a noise test anyway.

I may have some gopro footage - think I was following you for a while?
The amount depends on how long the memory card lasted - stuck with only a 2gb card as it wouldn't take my new 64!
Grey BMW perchance? That would be great!!The amount depends on how long the memory card lasted - stuck with only a 2gb card as it wouldn't take my new 64!
I'm trying to get it uploaded to the tube/FB bit says it'll be the morning by the time it's done, will link then
I do also have to say, given the smoke the brakes were giving out they never faded, the tyres though...

Many thanks to PH organising this day! I shall certainly go on one again but probably in the Clio next time (it was a close call but I got the RST fixed in time or so I thought) ; it seems to be more predictable in the reliability stakes! Something you don't always say about French cars!
Many apologies go out to the peeps on the 10:10 session. What I thought was Blue smoke on a corner from the exhaust of my RST turned out to be an oil surge issue that basically threw the oil out out of the breather! It only reared its head on the track out of any other time! It has been the first classic that has had zero oil covering the underside of it until today to add insult to injury, not helped by a Westy running a similar breather setup on his CVH with no dramas!
It may go on a track again but certainly not for a while, until I get to the bottom of this issue.
There were some lovely cars about. The SLS just sounded gorgeous going down the straight as did the Carrera GT.

Your brakes were certainly smoking well, for my passenger to notice it in the door mirror is quite an achievement! But they must have been working well as mine went to st about half way through!
Great day, I do hope I wasn't holding you up at all!
