Really, really good service today and a wonderfully eclectic mix of cars; MX5 Speedster my favourite. Didn't catch owner/builder's name but good talking to him also.

Edit: Just checked my FLickr and it's also my most popular photo from today. I'm not sure if that's due to your excellent taste in knitwear or your female acquaintance.
First Sunday service I've been to, definitely won't be the last...brilliant weather, location and drive down. A fantastically eclectic mix of cars and a good atmosphere..personal favourites, as always, the several Fezza F355s I spotted..the perfect car in my opinion..bacon wasn't bad either

Lol, I do tend to take people shots to try and capture the atmosphere of things like car meets. Sorry that today you were one of my unwilling victims!

Well the photos look great, and I think you captured the atmosphere really well.Edit: Just checked my FLickr and it's also my most popular photo from today. I'm not sure if that's due to your excellent taste in knitwear or your female acquaintance.
It was a very early start despite living not that far from Goodwood at all. We were a tad surprised and very pleased to be on the track. Its not my first Sunday Service but the first time I've taken a car I have owned

A very good morning indeed.
I live a few miles from Goodwood so I felt the need to go to the meet by way of the Hedge End convey meet-up point - 30 miles away. Picked up up with the Hayling Island mini-group en-route and enjoyed some quiet and sensible motorway miles, with the odd power surge, as the Sun came up.
Good fun in a large group making decent progress on the motorway. It was dry enough to have the roof down, heater on nuclear, hot air blowing on the feet, hands and neck, heated seat cooking my arse - good stuff. I was pleased at how sensible and safe the driving standard was in the group - fun but no nutters.
Onto the circuit quickly:
Parked up on the track, blue sky, mild, no wind - who says prayer is a waste of time?
Mines the silver one that's not a Porsche.
Wandered down to the Aero Club. Warm + Comfort + Cooked breakfast = Satisfaction
Got talking to Dave from Twickenham over breakfast, a very nice man, we walked around together checking out the stock and he was kind enough to show me his very tasty and muscular Mustang (which he might be interested in selling if you're in the market. Thanks for your company Dave.
Home well before lunch, wrap a few presents whizz through a few domestic chores to keep SWMBO happy. A very satisfactory way to spend a Sunday morning.
