And accepting I might upset someone here...who on earth brings a 3 metre high Vauxhall mast flag with them???
.....someone with a car big enough/practical enough to fit one in wink
I would hazard a guess it may well have been the guy who organised the meet!
Ya reckon? The guy with a Honda Civic has brought a Vauxhall flag??

And then wedged it under the wheel of a Zafira?

I'm doubting it myself!

Haha! Yeah it was the VXROnline guys. To be honest, I didn't have an issue with the flag - I didn't think it was offensive to anyone, unlike the guy that you spoke about Bertie, sorry to hear about that! :-/
In future a name on list entry system will be in place to prevent any undesirables in future.

Thanks Daggers for sorting this out, it was great to see such a variety of cars!

If more of this is going to happen count me in! Does anyone know how many cars went in the end?

I just hope the golf club were ok with the evening? I agree that a 'members only' type entry system will sort it out as we would not want the exotica being put off by very low slung shopping trolleys driven in a particular way causing mayhem in the area around the time of the event smile
+1......very much +1!!

My particular favourite was the lad clearly on his 8th or 9th can of Special Brew staggering about hardly able to stand, leaning in through my window breathing toxic fumes over me and swearing profusely whilst my 10 year old son was sat in the passenger seat! Nice!!

And accepting I might upset someone here...who on earth brings a 3 metre high Vauxhall mast flag with them???
He was our favourite as well, not sure his headache would of been helped by the noise we made as we went.I think members only is essential for events like this to work on a regular basis!

Thanks Richard for organizing, shame we couldn't book the weather!

Highlight of Sunday, following a 599 and followed by a Porsche across The Chase and through Rugeley. Not much opportunity for noise, but when there was it was glorious.

Loved the Trimuph Stag also.

I tried to 'sneak up' on you but strangely am never successful wink

I sadly often find the run to/from as enjoyable as the event, if not more at times.

Nice to see a 'little car' in convoy & being enjoyed - great clap

Bertie.....YHM smile

It is indeed a 328 sport.

You're my new best friend for saying that. I do love her dearly. (A few PHers have been previous owners, too.) Paintwork is a bit sketchy on the front, and she's starting to rust a little, which needs looking at, but I think she's a doozy! cloud9
I guess it being owned by PHers would explain why it looks so well cared for, the interior was great too. Has it been fettled at all under the bonnet?

Aye, love to see/hear/feel the cars moving as much as you can admire the detail whilst stationary.

I live just on that estate, I must scrape 1mm off my undertray each weekend! Perhaps I'll just have to save up for something more exotic, as you seemed to have no bother!

I know I arrived late but can't see one photo of mine or my friends car frown
Please try and get another one sorted went to a traditional boy racer style meet over near cannock maccies afterwards and whilst well attended (100+ cars) left after 5 mins cant deal with that anymore full of corsas and an evo and a punto nearly collided after 1 minute of being there. It was nice to see some normal people i.e. no chavs and cars over than corsa's and would be nice to get something sorted in the midlands as all the sunday services are miles away from here frown
