Excellent fun today - thanks for organising it Matt (the bunny killer).

Our convoy seemed to get lost towards the end and I found myself a mile from home facing a 25 mile round trip to the 8 Ball - decided to go home and get on with some jobs. Sorry to be a lightweight.

Special thanks to bobsan, setting a very respectable pace as the lead car in our group - nice job.

The end location was my fault. I gave out the itn for a different end location.

Thank you all for coming and Bob for leading the way.

Thanks to Jason who couldn't make the start but joined us for breakfast at the dinner.

Cheers Matt and all that attended - good safe run. That Corvette was well piloted and had some serious pace. The 'big' cars had excellent handling around the tight twisties. Impressed! Sorry we lost the little Jag XK140. He'd just rebuilt the engine and was running 3000 revs max.

Enjoying Moto gp and world superbikes on Eurosport now.....

Sorry fella - we kinda got lost at the end and I had 90 miles to get home, so carried on up the A12. My impressions were:

Did bloody well to keep the sheer width of the thing on the correct side of the road....
Sounds lovely, without being too loud....
In the lower gears, when you change up, it 'squats' down and fks off like a scalded cat....

Oh - the steering wheel appears to be on the wrong side.... wink

I went straight home also so don't worry.

Yes, keeping that fat ass in the correct carriageway can be a little like threading a needle - I could never lead a group - I need oncoming traffic to have panicked, hit the anchors and swerved out of the way before I get there so sitting 5th is perfect biggrin

I complained to GM about the wheel - apparently they are all like that in Americaland. Strange.

Thanks guys, it was a good run despite the Pulsar running like a pig with no legs. I think I need a new set of plugs one cycle colder. Given how the car was running and that I'd told the wife I'd be back slightly earlier than was realistically possible, I decided to head back before the end point.
