Hi Harsh,
Dave with the 4.3 Westy. Dont know if this would be of any interest for the rides, you know i have plenty of experience and now the cars had a full respray and a few more tweaks it going better than ever.
Let me know, catch up soon.
Dave
Hi Dave, if you've not had an email from Pete, send me one and i'll get on to it.

I've responded to the Supercar email to say I can make Saturday bit haven't had a response. Will there be an update confirming who is signed up? I can also offer to help set up on the Friday if required. I'm staying at the Guildford Travelodge on the Friday night but I'll need some advanced notice as I have to book the day of work in advance. smile
Hi Darren, i'll check with Pete but i believe he is just collating the responses at the moment, we have a large number to wade through so it may take a while.
However you drove last year (and your daughter was exceptionally good at keeping order on the PN stand if i remeber rightly!!) so your mail back would have been a confirmation of your place to us if you know what i mean?
Help on Friday will always be appreciated, we can chat nearer the time on that score.

Are children allowed to have the passenger rides as well ??
Absolutely, it's a family day out.
there are a couple of age restrictions but only from a safety point of view.
Supercar ride ages are ages 4 and upwards
caterham rides are 14 upwards.

As yet there are no restrictions on the Sporting Bear rides, it will depend on which car you choose and (if necessary) the availability of child seats.

Just a quick note from Sporting Bears.

Firstly we are all excited to be helping at this fantastic event, so once you have flown over the TG track in the Helicopter, tested your stomach in the Caterhams and smiled as a star passeneger in an insanly priced car on the track - the Sporting Bears will be there with cars to take you on your Dream Ride on the open roads for around 20 minutes.

We will update our cars list nearer the time, but for the question on childrens rides here is the official blurp....

Use of Appropriate Seating

Any child under the age of 12 must use the appropriate approved seating.

Any child between the age of 6 and 12 and under the height of 135cm will have to use the approved booster seats provided by the club
We cannot allow Dream Rides to any children under the age of 6 as we do not have suitable seating available

Looking forward to seeing you all there!

Do we know much about how the Sporting Bears thing is going to operate........ will there be a course within the Airfield or is it going to venture out onto the public roads ?

All i've really heard is that it'll be a 20 minute duration thing smile

Check out their website, they have been doing dream rides for many years. The last few years I have been involved in the dream rides and they regularly raise in excess of 30k at the NEC alone.

I spent a lot of last year in close proximity to the Enzo, no problem form an Atom's perspective apart from taking a month to remove the grin from my face.

I would like to offer my services with this event (reserve list if needed), drove my Atom 300 at Wishes4Kids (Donnington) and Asda charity day (Bruntingthorpe) last year. Great days and would love to get more involved with these type of events, can make myself available either Saturday or Sunday.

Do I need to PM/email Harsh/Pete?
