What time do you think you'll all be setting off on Saturday? (Our convoy won't be arriving until about 1/1.30pm on Saturday.)

No rush Emma, you will want to chill out when you arrive, and put your tents up, which is why I was thinking mid afternoon drifting into the evening for Great Yarmouth.

Sounds good.....Emma, as we're in convoy we can help each other put our tents up when we arrive which should save time boxedin and also reserve a patch of grass for Al's tent of course yes

I'm quite good with putting up tents. I've only cocked up once (in Lowestoft ten or so years ago). Me and my friend woke up during the night to discover a pool by our feet. She wasn't impressed hehe

Great, you can help me then....I haven't put a tent up for years so it would have been interesting

But he does make a good windbreak.
Mind you if we put mine and BG next to each other won't need a brindbreak anywhere else.
Assuming i get the gearbx fixed!!

If we do go for a good run out, I might want to ride shotgun with someone instead of hooning about in BG. Although i'm still taking BG, the old boy is not running very well. There appears to be a fuelling/ECU problem. When pressing on, it's running lean, the ECU is retarding the ignition to prevent detonation, and boost is being dumped. The old boy is way off his normal pace. But, when pootling about, it appears to be running rich, as the tail pipes are sootier than a rough old diesel. Until I get it fixed (fuel pump worn out and very tired 100K injectors I reckon) it's probably best not to keep driving him like a loony.

So, if we're out on Saturday & Sunday, i'm a car tart for a ride.

Thanks Emma, we could just jump in with John though. Or I may still go out & about in BG, but just take it steady [waft mode on].

Given that it will be pm before many of us will be legally fit to drive (I sincerely hope - otherwise I'm being led on to PF under false pretences) and I for one will probably not feel absolutely 100% even then, I shall definitely be in "cruising with the top down" mode throughout

Maybe we could just "waft" to Gt Yarmouth, it's a bank holliday so the roads will be busy.
