I have emailed Cheeky, but no reply, which I understand as he is away in Canada shooting.

I can't transfer the money to his account because I am nowhere near a bank during the week due to my work location and loal branch isn't open Saturday.

Anyhow, does anyone have his friends address so i can post it? Really don't want to miss out on this.

Cheers

I haven't been keeping an eye on this too well, just picked up the deposit request.

Not much banter though, is it still on ??

OK all, how do you feel about paying a £50 deposit to secure your place on the day? We'll be rather nervous about no-shows if we can't do something like that. Balance on the day, unless you would rather get it over with now!

Electronically, please put Dunsfold+your name as a reference and deposit the money at account 90077623, sort code 82-69-05 (account name SRA Touring Teams).

If you prefer to send a cheque, let me know and I'll post Lindsay's address.

Directions/instructions later, but I look forward to seeing you there!
Chaps,

The event will go ahead, provided that you all step up! I have passed on contact details to Lindsay (at lindsay.peden@uk.bp.com) for MikeGF, Jmaynard, Bluesatin and Chargerman.

The rest of you do need to get in touch with him (copy me in) if you want this event to go ahead. He and Jim are getting rather nervous about it as things stand! Please can you try and get in touch by the weekend?

Just emailed Lindsay asking for the address too, as I am also a definite to attend and don't want to miss out.

As it's all gone a bit quiet, I have offered my services to help to Matt & Lindsay. I am a marketing manager by trade and organise events all the time. Just want to make sure we get as many as possible and have a great day with as many cars there as possible biggrin

Cheers

Hi Swerni

I have had a reply from Lindsay, I am unable to transfer the money over due to my work location (no where near a bank!) and my local branch being shut Saturdays! So Lindsay has told me to pay Matt in full on the day, which I will do in cash. Unless this causes a few problems, in which I will post a cheque. I am a definite for the day, as you can probably tell from all my excited postings! I'm 36, but this has got me as excited as a little puppy dog!

Looking forward to seeing you all on the day. Do you think we can go for passenger rides in each others cars on the VMAX?

Also, will I need a helmet? (oo-er!!) and I am assuming, that even though this isn't a "track day" as such that we will need some kind of track day insurance?

Cheers

Your going to have to promise not to hump anyone's leg !!

Good to see another Monaro there Mike. Just hoping for a rolling start though, clutch dropping tyre smoking standing starts aren't a Monaro strong point. That reminds me, must order those rear tyres ......

Hi Mogv8

Just keep a rolled up paper on you to smack me over the nose with wink

Will I need a helmet?

Be good to compare our 2 Monaro's. WHat do you think the best way to launch will be? I am thinking traction control on?

Cheers

If it is a 2km runway, then allowing for braking space you should be doing a good 150mph + maybe more. Not a good time to have a blow out, so I would source a helmet !! I had assumed it was compulsory but could be wrong.

Best launch ? I will let you know after the 7th. I guarantee it won't be rev to 4k and side step the clutch though. driving

If there's still space I'd love to have a lap of the TG track & a VMax ride (as I feel that my Accord diesel might be shown up a bit on the VMax front...)

I can pay online for the lap or cash on the day (for the donation for the VMax ride) - which would you prefer?
