stuart & colin... time to put your toys away imho and stop the constant sniping.... others have moved on it's time you did too!!

If either of you do some research you might be interested to see who were the organisers of several very successfull forays into Europe during 2008.

However, the research will need to be thorough and not half cocked like some comments as I believe Ptrolhead Nirvana organise tours without using their own brand!!

Marcelus, toys werent out, research was done, qualified & as you know I have moved on, If you read my post again you will see I was far from negative about things, they have people who can & have delivered in the past & Im sure with their enthusiasm will in the future under the PN banner. Millau is due o run shortly & as you again know thats a great trip so they should have many happy people after that.
Ive dropped you a PM, get back to me when you can

Typical Pistonheads, southern idiots!!!!!! Driving Nirvana, where,Scotland,Lake District,Pennines etc,all north of Birmingham,so where do they have all there "meets"?Surrey and Kent,WHY?
Although Pistonheads is one of the best site on the interweb,IMHO,they dont half think this country is a small island set within the M25.

That's bound to make us want to organise stuff up north then rolleyes

We have tried up north in the past, and the midlands, and the south west. Problem is that people just don't come out in the same numbers.

I think you will find that with this amalgamation, ALL tastes and needs will be catered for.

This is an epic coming together of ability and passion, and I have full faith that this time next year, a new milestone will have been set in the history of recognised, respected and well organised events... wink

yeah, errm that'll take the pressure off nicely, thanks biggrin

In all seriousness though, whatever has been said up to now.
The simple fact is that all of us at Petrolhead Nirvana are car nuts, we love driving and as has already been said, we've done a bit of this before and had a few favourable comments.

Our intention for the future is simply to provide the sort of trips that combine great roads and a fun group atmosphere which transcend ego's or car snobbery.

we will do our best to make that happen...the proof is indeed in the pudding.

Hey, steady on Marcelus confused when I first read the announcement I thought it read that PN had run some tours (that I wasn’t aware of) & I couldn’t find any photos on PN. You must admit it was worded as though they had under the banner of PN, rather than with previous incarnations.

I wondered who had been on the run, as I would love to run with the old FB5K’s again & if they were on it I would be up for joining in. Having done Milau and Ventoux last year & Stelvio three (Ok, 2 ½ times!) I will wait for something different. The UK runs “up north” sound great & will look forward catching up with the guys sometime. driving
