Well done PH, a great day, even if we did show up whilst a few cars were already leaving, will have to aim for gate opening time more rigorously next time!

Hey Charlie, sorry I didn't come over to say hi you seemed to be more concerned about the big pile of smoke coming from the engine. hehe

wavey Turned quite a few heads that, the fact that it looks standard still got most peoples approval I think... Stick a build thread up in Readers Cars!

To the White V8 XKR getting sideways on the way out, you made my day!! biggrin

I was the rather noisy grey/black mini with black/yellow wheels giving off a rather strong smell of petrol....

Some stunning cars there today and great to see we had a decent chav filter on the day, I think a few made it through but not many.

Good to see some naughty cars without idiocity.... oh, on that note... to the M3 I had no idea it filtered into one lane, you know what I mean! lol

What was the steam (I'm assuming from the water below the engine) from? Pipe popped off or something?

have no idea why it happened but there was a cap on one of the radiator hoses and it blew off, and obviously the coolant all pissed out and was at boiling temperatures so had to wait for it all to drain out put cap back on and top it up with water temporarily.

That C2 was a proper sleeper....

We were stood talking when it rev'ed up (similar time as the lambo) and it was a bit of a WTF moment, "Was that a V6 behind that C2.... hold on!?"

Loved it. The drive there was loopy, the drive back was crackers.
Very odd mismatch of a 20 year old Renault 21 Quadra howling along with a couple of Focus RS, Porker, Atom and RS4 amongst others but it performed admirably. Can't wait for the next one!
Your stripped out 21 was one of my favourite car of the day. thumbup

My favourite being a red RS4 who gave it a blip, sounded awesome.
If you are referring to the Red 'tin-top' RS4, then it was a pleasure smile

Excellent morning and well done to PH and Mini

Followed the blue Cobra (replica i think.....shame on me for not knowing !!) down the A43 to Towcester on the way back. Impressive grunt and wonderful sound when it was given the beans.
