What a fantastic run today, one of the best I would have said. Every one drove well, & to top it all 3 proper Super cars in attendance.

Thanks again Mark for bringing along the F50, I am still in total awe of that beast. Was great to catch up with everyone that I managed to get to speak with.

I was the lucky git being taken for that passenger ride. Truly awesome. Words cannot describe it!

Beautiful turn out of cars. Fantastic to seem some things in the flesh that have only seen in magazines to date. Good that the weather held off too.

Drive was a little too 'spirited' for my liking - makes it hard for us that don't know the route to keep in touch so will meet at the end I think next time.

I'll try and get some pics up.

i got home ok, it looks like the alternator so it's a case of trying to find someone local to fix it. i'm thinking Verdi in hayes, unless someone else knows someone better in North London

Well we sort of got seperated from the main Dunstable group but I had abit of fun with the 350z when we got the chance.

Was great to meet people and catch up with a few others.

Oh and one other thing, I cannot believe the noise of the Carrera GT in the tunnel, I could hear nothing else but the howl of that car. Awesome!! cloud9

I Had a really good time and it's always good to be able to picture who i am talking to. Namely, Matt and Di, Mrs Trackside, Nicola, sydned and the guys with the 340R (sorry, can't remember your names!)

I didn't make it to sywell as the people i was following took a wrong turn and we couldn't get back with the pack, maybe next time i'll get there!!

Someone ACTUALLY took a pic of the lonely SEAT!

type.ra - I see it was you in the Orange GT3, very nice motor that!

The drive was a bit of a let down to be honest, most people booted it out the services, I booted it to keep up (as I didn't know where we were going) and left others way behind, then coming off the motorway, those infront again booted it off, so I kept up, again leaving those behind far back...but despite this we ended up getting lost anyway, and followed a silver Golf from the original meet (who was heading home!) After that tried to keep meeting up with the convoy through telephone calls, but gave up in the end and headed home.

Shame as I was really looking forward to this, perhaps next time people won't be in such a rush? frown

Also, I heard a few people making sarcastic comments (amazing what you hear when your not stood directly next to your car) about the SEAT with its bonnet open, which is a shame considering I saw the event as an enthusiasts meet...

The car is running around 350bhp...so I guess I felt I deserved to show her off a bit! Maybe because it doesn't look like a supercar, or even a sports car people think why is he here, what has he got to show??

Anyway, enough of that, positive points!! The array of cars was superb, the F50, the Ford GT, the GT3, and the Noble collection all impressive, loved the TVRs, and the Caterham 7, how the heck do you get into that? I'd be lucky to fit my leg in!

The Cobra sounded amazing, and the Mustang looked the nuts. I saw the Rousch logo in the back windscreen, does it have the Supercharger conversion?

Cars looked amazing, but next time I think I'll meet at the services, then just meet everyone at the finish point!

Hope this doesn't sound too whingy!! frown

When everyone was leaving the services, I was surprised to see someone turn the music up in their car (windows were open). I guess it was a newbie.

One of the enjoyable parts of the run is listening to the other cars 'music/exhaust tunes'.

Great run Andy and I hope the front spoiler isn't damaged after hitting that ramp that seemed invisible!
