Looking to be a good one.

Will probably run 5 groups of 6 cars, setting off at regular intervals from 6:30am - 7:00am, depending on when people arrive. There's a stop point after about an hour, at which people can shift groups around to suit.

Hello all,

This seems like it will be a fantastic event.

I've just joined up to Piston-Heads as I have recently moved to the UK from Ireland. I am a regular poster on Octane.ie (Irish motoring enthusiast forum)

What I want to ask here is would it be OK for me to come along to this event? I don't have a nice car at the moment so I don't really have anything to add to the event. However, I would love to see some of the metal on display.

I'm based near Manchester so at a guess I would say approx. 4 hours travel? would this be correct?

I'm thinking now it would even be better if I could go along as a passenger with someone else who is at the event. Would this be possible?

With no traffic, 3 - 3.5 hours - but that's a long way to come!!

Pistonheads hold regular 'Sunday Service' meets with upwards of 200 cars in attendance, to be honest you'd probably be better off making a special trip along to one of those rather than a small drive out, but as said before - you're welcome to come along, and possibly ride along with someone.
