Thanks for organising this guys, was a great morning and some unreal motors!

I don't think i've ever seen so many GT3s in one place before... what I wouldn't give to own one!

Anyone care to explain about the yellow lambo with a tea tray aircraft wing on the back and front wide-body, yet standard offset wheels and standard interior?

P.s thanks to the modded gtr (sounded like thunder), m5 and the 350z for the 'fun' trip home, was worth the dead flys haha!
It was fun, and I agree the sound of the GTR was unreal. It seemed to bounce of everything. I was in the 350z and owe the M5 driver an apology for nearly pulling out in front of him..sorry.
I was in the GTR with my matee in the M5. He initially took the wrong turning but
soon caught us up on the M40. We both really enjoyed that run home. Next time i'll actually use my 'race' mode....

It has been explained in the last few pages. Look for Thorney's posts.

It's some kind of project for Halfords Tescos. wink

Incredible sound when you went past us on the way to Silverstone, I've never heard anything like it! I couldn't help but laugh in amazement hehe

Was a good day yesterday. I'd like to say hello to the guy in the silver 911 who had a bit of a comparison with my VXR on the way out. Don't think I did too bad considering I was 3 up aswell biggrin

Does anyone know who put a Slick Attire leaflet on lots of the cars? Seems a bit of a piss take considering PH and Porsche hosting the event do their own branded apparel.

It was slick attire, and it was taking the piss. I've had words.

I raised the concern about the leaflets a few pages back. Would be interested to know what response you get if any; was a poor idea by them; taking advantage of a free event. Fair enough flyers on your own car (with permission) for others to pick up, but not on everyone elses.

Massive thank you to Garlick and the PH team. Also a big thumbs up to Porsche for being so generous in offering their amazing track for us lot to plonk our cars on. smile

Really good morning and I didn't see a single wally trying to ruin it by showing off. Everyone there was a true petrolhead, which was great to see. smile

Very very well organised - and all for free! biggrin

Ahh yes, you passed me (in the red Esprit) on the A43 just before the Silverstone turn off. What a noise from both cars. I thought I was being attacked by fighter jets !!! clap

Anyone else see the silver Ascari Ecosse on the way home?
I intially thought it was an XJR15 until it went passed, neither being something you see everyday.

Around 600 now...could mod further but quick enough now. Only used as a weekend car so rarely utilising the power.
