Wow, what an absolutely brilliant day.
Thankyou to the PistonHeads team for the very warm welcome on the gate, it's always lovely to be greeted by people who are happy, smiling and enthusiastic about being there. The stand location was also brilliant, right by the bus stop or you could take a walk round the circuit and see the action at eye level.
It was great fun, lots of action, lots of things to see. The FXX / 599XX / 599XX Evo programs were absolutely mind blowing and it's something that'll stick with us for a long time.
Thanks again PistonHeads and Ferrari!

Thanks PH for the day,got there in my brothers 7 series and had a great day,yes even got on the wrong bus (public) and went all around the site and didn't go onto the "VIP" bus to go direct to the PH car park.
I love the FXX and the noise they make when going down the revs, simply amazing!

Yesterday was my 1st SS and my 1st at lending a helping hand at the gate checking people in through our make shift coned area. I'm sure some people thought our coned lanes was an Autotest area admittedly the muppet in the hi-vis jacket was as much use a chocolate fire guard, I’m sure he was a highly trained individual, but in what I don’t know
It was a superb day, although I wish this was a 4x4 forum as getting on your knees to be at eye level to check names is only so good the following day, especially when your 6’+ !
I thoroughly enjoyed the whole day, although, the highlight was probably having a chat with people on the gate and trying to get a smile out of people, oh and seeing an F40 on track
Fantastic day out and congratulations to everyone involved in organising the day. Hopefully we also collectively raised a shed load of money for Mission Motorsport
Great day out.
Thank you very much for your help, it was much appreciated. Buckets went back to Mission Motorsport absolutely brimming, so we're all looking forward to what the total was.It was a superb day, although I wish this was a 4x4 forum as getting on your knees to be at eye level to check names is only so good the following day, especially when your 6’+ !

Hey StuartIs there an online giving page? I didn't donate on arrival as I had to break a 20 ...and when I left I was keen to get away - missed the buckets!!
Cheers
Had an awesome day, so thanks to all involved for organising the SS.
And on another positive note - my 1 year old kept her ear defenders on ALL DAY LONG! Yay! She'll be making her way to ALOT more motorsport events now
Absolutely loved the XX programme. Gutted that the F40 LM broke but atleast I got the chance to stand next to it in the pits whilst a couple of guys fettled with it.

I dont know about the £110, possible owned by a blue badge holder? Others I would guess some others are 1st year tax disks (inlcuding one off showroom tax).
Not sure about that either, but an import from a country that doesn't do CO2 levels means they can't tax it on CO2, so have to revert to the pre-March 2001 rule. So the most you pay for a year is £220, irrespective when it was built. As I said, it only applies to an import from a country where the CO2 level is not written on the registration documents.Moley RUFC said:
Any idea what happened to the F40 LM? It was running in a very strong 2nd place until it dropped out.
It slowed on the straight to Brooklands. no smoke or anything untoward. Thanks again everyone involved, was going to say hello Garlick, but you where busy.
Another hello was to the Cerbera and the black DC2, who made my journey home slightly nicer.
