GregE240 said: Hi everyone,

This is Emma - GregE240's wife.

Greg came in at around 7am this morning after a 26 hour day, and has gone straight to bed. Doubtless some of you on here will know he is at the rollout stage of the project he is working on at the moment, and I imagine there were problems late yesterday evening.

Once he's up and about, we'll try and make it for the end, but if we don't see you, then Merry Christmas all and we look forward to seeing you in 2003 - and more clement weather maybe ?

Emma.

Hi Emm. Sorry to hear that Greg had to slave over some hot computers instead of coming out to play. It was a nice meet. Melv brought along his serious racing Porsche - my Boxster S looked very, very tame in comparison. Hope to compare Boxster S notes at a future meet.

We did miss you! All the best...

Mrs Steve_T here. Hope you all had a great day out. I'm currently suffering with the flu. Steve has been busy riding around Surrey in preparation for his bike test tomorrow. It was great seeing many of you on Tuesday for a pre-Christmas meal .

If you see someone dressed like the stig on the roads tomorrow please keep well away!!!

Merry Christmas to you all, see you in 2003!

I think thats a good idea. I really wanted to come along but couldn't because I was driving back from Manchester at the time

Guys/Girls,
Was going to suggest making this a monthly/bi-monthly meet......but starting in March?,when (hopefully) we might have some good weather again.

sorry for not getting back earlier.
Good to meet everyone and Melv I have to admit I fell in love with the porker. so rare, light, fast and what a track weapon that must be!! classic that we both know Mark Gorham and boy does he like his porkers!!
Shame it was so cold but still a good turnout and especially from the rear wheel drive boys. top effort.
Godzilla or the GTR went down well and plenty of curiosity as to does it have 1000 BHP? er sadly not but half of that!! I do not know of any cars in the UK that really do. Our fuel is naff!!
Good to meet some new people, and did like the BMW Evo as well!!

Nice one, top meet for me too. I gave Pdavison a run up the A30 behind Melv's diet911. How bloody quick is that thing!! I would love to have a run round a track in that. Holden HSV with N²O!!! Nutty Skyline with a bloody heavy clutch!

Did everyone have a good journey home?

Melv,

You must have pulled about six car lengths on me out of the car park!! The evo is claimed to do a 0-100 in 12.8secs so you must have been around the 10 mark. However I could not stop the rear wheels from spinning up so had some trouble finding grip. I saw the Porsche having a little wobble (Im guessing 2nd to 3rd shift)

It almost inspires me to rip out the two cows that I have lining my interior and every single item that is unnecessary to the running of the motor!

Great 911, hope to see you at Goodwood and future meets.

Melv,
Would have thought that a Sunday might be better(some Phers would be at work on a Saturday)so would get a better turnout on Sunday?

Well, based on it's always been a Saturday so far, Sunday's out for a lot of others, + VW CP (and Wheatsheaf)usually heaving on a Sunday......I'll go with the flow.

Still up for Feb 1.
