If a barge is not unwelcome, I will try and get over there with my toddler and give Mrs XB70 a break!
Any recommended 'scenic' routes from NW8?
Cheers
Jumping on the M11 up to Bishops Stortford then coming in on the A1060 would probably get my vote from where you are - I live in Chelmsford and my fun drives often end up in that sort of area!Any recommended 'scenic' routes from NW8?
Cheers
Not sure how long that would take but it would be better than the A12 route suggested by google maps.
I'll be there in a mk1 Ford Focus RS - not been before so will probably arrive early and park in the corner somewhere - not sure what kind of cars are usually there!
pictures from last year, to give you an idea of the cars that turn up

Big turn out for this considering weather - Pub was well caught out but coped admirably! Car park full, double parked on verges and slip road. Black Mclaren MP4 star attraction. Good crowd and some truly exceptional vehicles. Looking forward to next one
Couple of Fezzas sounded a bit limp wristed giving it some on exit, green Lambo however sounded far more convincing and driver clearly committed to "proper" car park exit (alarmingly burning oil on fullchat tho - blue smoke clearly visible )

Was probably my favourite car of the morning
In no particular order, my other pics (iphone quality and just point and snap - nothing special!)

Meant to say 'I didnt want to end up in a hedge'.
Its best not to pratt about at these events as it could go very wrong plus the boys in blue are normally around waiting!!!
Nice photos, shame the Gull Wing didnt get parked!!

Agreed to all of that - particularly re. the gullwing - would have enjoyed a closer look at it!
Got there about 9.15am (took ages to get the kids ready) but cars everywhere so no real place to park safely and unload the kids and buggy as was just me. Still, was an amazing site. Whoever was in the F550 that was heading away from the Hare at around 9.10 or so, it looked great.
Maybe next time
