Wilton House Classic and Supercars 2013

PH parking, a special competition just for PHers and a great show to boot

Wilton House Classic and Supercars returns on Sunday 4th August where vistors can enjoy well over 400 superb cars on display ranging from the latest supercars to the rarest classics spread across the beautiful grounds of the Wilton House estate in Wiltshire

A new attraction for 2013 comes in the form of event sponsors Aston Martin who will celebrate their 100th year with a display entitled 'A journey through 100 years of Aston Martin'. This will feature 100 cars that represent Aston Martin's entire history beginning with the earliest pre-war cars, through the legendary DB series, to the current models. The timeline will be joined by some of the finest and most successful racing cars ever to bear the Aston Martin badge, including the current GT3 race cars, and a large gathering of Aston Martin owners with their own cars too.

When you arrive early in the day a host of display cars, trade stands and activities will already be waiting, but later on you'll note your fellow show-goers heading over to the drive to watch 175+ supercars burble and rumble their way up the drive before parking on Lord Pembroke's immaculate lawn. Not something you see every day, and the undeniable highlight of the Wilton show every year.

As is traditional at Wilton House, PHers will be able to park in our own dedicated PH parking area away from the masses. Up to five hundred PHers can park in the PH area creating a Sunday Service atmosphere within the show. As per usual, you'll need to sign up on the calendar to take advantage of this; the spaces will be allocated on a first come- first served basis. Nearer the event we will email all those on the list with a logo to print out and display on your dashboard as you arrive.

To reserve your parking space click here

Want more? We've got more! Thanks to the organisers we are offering an exclusive competition to PHers through which one lucky winner (plus their car and passenger) will get the chance to experience the WCS event in the same way as one of the supercar drivers. Our winner will join 175+ supercars at a secret location for a morning of very high-speed thrills, even participating with their own car if they wish. Once they have convoyed back to the House they will be guests at the drivers' lunch inside Wilton's award winning Gothic Hall and, after that, the rest of the day is theirs to enjoy with 'access all areas' Drivers' Passes.

To be in with a chance of winning please email uswith the following information

  • Your name
  • Your address
  • Your current car
  • A daytime phone number
  • Make sure you add WCS competition to the subject line of your email
  • Our winner will be chosen randomly on 17/04/13

Finally, you'll need to buy your entry ticket. General Admission tickets can be purchased on the way into the car park. General Admission and Premium tickets are available at an advance discount rate until 12th July 2013 with adult prices starting at a very reasonable £12 and children aged 5-15 at £5.60.

More details on how to buy tickets can be found here

Hopefully the parking won't be on a steep hill like last year?

Until about 3 weeks before last years show most of the site was under water so we were forced to move the PH parking to firmer ground. So unless we suffer another summer like the last one the PH parking will be in far better location!

Ahh, I'd forgotten the flooding issue. It wasn't meant to sound like a complaint, I just know it wasn't ideal last year particularly for the more sporty cars. I'm really looking forward to it again, I'm taking the day out of a family holiday plus 4.5hrs driving each way to be there.

THE standout best car event in this country now for me.

Don't worry, it wasn't taken as one! We are always learning and improving year on year and we wouldn't be able to do this with your feedback.

Glad to hear you will be making the effort to come again this year, we have some exciting plans afoot!

I only live in Bournemouth and had never heard of this, just put my name down for PH parking, sounds like a good event.

What is the traffic like trying to get in as it says the gates only open 15mins before the show?

I was there last year for the first time and it was a brilliant day out, I'm going to be making every effort to get down there again this time.

One of the best Motoring events of the year in my book, Considering this is mainly a 1 day show, the Standard of exhibits and Supercars on display make it a fantastic event.

Still a bit confused? So there is a ph car park which is cool. I have a Supercar and would like to display and be part of the 175+ Supercars which arrive at front of house, sound off etc. how do I go about registering for this or is the ph car park the same thing??

Cheers

We did this last year and took some of our cars. We went to the Black Tie dinner at Wilton House on the Saturday night as well. Epic weekend. Best Supercar meet by far !!!

Wow, what a response. Some wonderful comments from PHers above, which we really appreciate. Thanks guys!

I note that, in under 24 hours and despite it being 5 months away from the event, the PH parking is over 50% full already and the cars in there look like a pretty interesting showcase all by themselves! Gotta love PH.

One poster above was asking about bringing his supercar as part of the display, which is great because the event thrives and evolves on new content and new characters every year; you can of course go to the website and enquire via the 'info@' address, but all these enquiries get forwarded to me anyway so feel free to send me a PM.

Ordered my tickets & booked a slot in the PH car park once again.

It's hard to believe it's the 5th Wilton Classic And Supercars already & it keeps getting better each time! I can still remember the first one like it was yesterday!

Whats even harder to believe is that i've come to every single one so far & have never been disapointed! Thats why it's in my opinion the best car show by a mile. Better even then the Festival Of Speed!

Roll on August 4th!! MATES!!!!

P.S. For those that want to know how much the show has evolved in such a short space of time, here's a little look back at the last 4 years of Wilton Classic And Supercars in pictures.
