Discussion
The guy was called simon hes not registered on here, its had all sorts of mods done to it its running at about 400BHP at the moment, it has lots of on board data logging and electricary including launch control its a very quick car it has been clocked at 178 on the autobarns earlier in the year but its probably a bit quicker now as hes done some work on the boost control. Its a very nice car it can normally be found at le mans hiding with the city region TVRCC group, i will try and get him down for VW in october

Thanks! The wheels are indeed from a Lexus GS300 sport - they were an option at the time and were very hard to come by for several years, but you can now order them straight from Toyota/Lexus. They are quite sought after by Supra owners as they fit straight on and have the correct offsets etc.
I think it must be someone else at Donnington though, don't think I've ever been...

Ah ha! You've turned up here at last Si
Well done for coming along yesterday... considering the hangover you had that morning it was an admirable effort.
My favourite 'new thing' on the Supra is the harness bracket, effectivley making it a 2-seater. Or possibly 2-seater with rear sleeping compartment - handy for Le Mans.

Yes indeedy, I can normally be found spending far too much time on the Supra owners club forum.
Hangover? I don't know what you mean, I only had a couple of grape juices on Saturday night

I believe the technical term for the harness bar is the "rear passenger decapitation bar", especially designed so you don't get people wanting a lift. Not that many were foolish enough to want to fold their legs up to get in the back anyway.
The Supra is not quite as heavy as many people think, it weighs just over 1500Kg...
