Location: Willen Lake, Milton Keynes http://fyad.org/m99c
Date/time: Sunday 29th April 10:30am onwards

Been floating this idea out on the Northants thread over the last week, thought i'd offer it out to the wider community.

With the warmer weather, I thought it would be a good to get together some fellow PHers for a little meet. The location is Willen Lake. Specifically the car park highlighted on this google map link http://fyad.org/m99c, this carpark is the only one which doesnt have speedbumps going into it, also from around 10am(will confirm with parks trust) they open the 2 large grass areas for parking.

There is a cafe, pub/restaurant on site as well as crazy golf, train rides, high wire activities and large childrens play area so Bring along the family (if you can fit them in of course)

Parking is Pay and Display and is charged at 50p for a hour £1 for 2 hours etc.

Hope to see some of you there.

Ollie

I'm in. I'll be driving a hire car from work though, which will undoubtedly be sub 1.2 litres and sub 80hp

just seen this, but have made other arrangements now would have been lovely.
not that I'm local but it would've been a nice drive up there and an excuse to visit family I've not seen for a while.

will you be doing it again?

make sure someone takes some pics and posts them up for us, thanks.

Central is the resident happy snapper, sure there will be pics.

So the weather is due to be alright, nice and warm.

The extra overflow carparks 'should all be open' was the message i got from parks guys.

Think its all coming together.

Was coming along to this till this morning as im only 2 miles from the venue but had a phone call from a mate whos working at brands this weekend for the A1 GP and he has come across 2 spare VIP tickets and asked me if I wanted them. Be rude not to really, so setting off early. Have fun and I will try and make the next meet.

Sorry we couldn't make it guys - Developed an oil leak yesterday, and until I find out what it might be, I'm a little reluctant to take her out....

Maybe next time.

We've all left now,

Wasn't a bad turn out in the end, little slow start but thanks to those that came, sorry to hear about the oil leak maxxuk.

We had

Astra (woo)
Monaro CV8
TVR Tasmin 2+2
Jaguar X type Sport (diesel)
HSV GTS
Cerbera 4.2

Central has pictures and i'm sure he'll post them up when he gets back. I'll look at doing another one of these sometime soon.
