Britballrun 2007
UK driving tour returns
The Britballrun event is back for another year.
The annual event - approved by the MSA - is held throughout Britain over the three day August Bank Holiday weekend, and hopes to raise a large amount of cash for charity.
The aim of the event is to clock up the least amount of miles (each mile represents 1 point) via predefined control points. These points are revealed to the entrants after they have solved clues specific to the previous control point location. The event is not a race and is not time-critical.
During the three days, entrants have the opportunity to reduce their overall point score by taking part in a series of mental and physical challenges.
For example, last year, entrants were asked to obtain a stick of Blackpool rock with Britballrun running through it. The added bonus was to obtain the longest length as each centimetre equalled 1 mile off a team’s overall score. The longest length given in was 1.1m…
The event is not time specific and has been designed around navigation, fun and team working. Britballrun describe it as ‘the perfect environment to meet new friends and acquaintances’.
The cost of entry is £350 per person with a minimum of 2 people per vehicle.

Theres been lots of talk about this, and other driving events, I've done the last 2 Brtballs & its all down to your attitude. Its not about tearing through 30mph zones at 100mph its about having a laugh, enjoying driving & making the event special. If you enter, within the first hour you'll get the idea, raise money for charity, dress up as a tw#at, park outside Tescos & get 10 of the staff to look for yesterdays paper or alphabet spaghetti to spell Britballrun... thats whats it about.
Looking forward to this, its a great laugh & if you see us hooning about give us a flash...its on Aug bank holiday.
