3 day road trip. places/hotels/roads in north and mid wales?

taking the 944 on a little road trip next week with the GF. i know the weather will probably be crap!

day1.
manchester> conwy. stay over (visiting some family)

day2.
conwy> barmouth or similar stay over (suggestions?)

day3.
barmouth> somewhere in land a on route back towards manchester. stay over Suggestions?

£100 a night budget.

I stayed at Seiont Manor Hotel (nr(ish) to Anglesea) recently.

Lovely Hotel, Great Staff & I paid less than £95 for Dinner Bed & Breakfast (really good food)
