4th June -Virginia Water (Surrey) Meet
Discussion
Good Afternoon chaps.
I am a committee member of the Virginia Water Royal British Legion. To commemorate the Queens 90th birthday this year we need to hold an event.
I would like to organise a car meet of classic and modern cars. Our car park is a little rough but most cars will be able to manage- we also have the advantage of having a very large tarmacked car park right next door which is easily visible and accessible from the club itself.
The start time would be 12PM to fit in with licencing hours. It is cheap drinks and I shall also arrange either a burger van or BBQ on the day too. In the afternoon (circa 3pm) we have a singer by the name of Jason Searle who won Stars in their eyes......in 1998!!
I shall myself be bringing a Corvette C7 and a 2016 Cadillac Escalade.
I have attached a link to the map https://www.google.co.uk/maps/place/Station+Parade...
If we could do like we do on Sunday Service where you post your name with which car you would hope to bring so I can keep an eye on numbers.
If this gets some traction, a volunteer or 2 to help with parking could be rewarded with a couple of tipples of your choice and a nice burger!
