PHers Xmas Lunchtime pub meet, 12th Dec, Liphook.
Discussion
Hi everyone, organising a PHer's Pub meet 12th December for some lunch before Christmas!
Venue: The Links, 82 Portsmouth Rd , Liphook , Hampshire , GU30 7EF.
Well positioned for our particular group of PH's and they will reserve part of the car park for us if we can give accurate numbers. They have a wide selection on the "Specials" menu on a Sunday, including anything from Baguettes through too a Full Roast all at reasonable prices and of course lots of draught beers and soft drinks available.
I've chatted with the manager Debbie and she's very enthusiastic about it. We'll need to start getting there about 12:00-12:30 to avoid loosing reserved parking.
It's on the B2070 It's just South of Liphook off the A3. It's about 25 mins south of the pub that we use for the Guildford meet. It's about 30mins north of Portsmouth and 10 minutes west of Haslemere.
Map link below  :

Hope to see many of you there, perhaps a few of the POTBIII & BT&P people will be comin' along?

Tempted... but 4 xmas dinners in a week (including one the on the 11th) might be a tad excessive.
Nobody is force feeding you. Just come for the tyre kicking (give as good as you get).
Steve
Spooky. I was just about to ask if it was ok to attend after for a chat
What time will lunch start? (I'll guestimate a finishing time )
Not everyone gets food usually, some people just have a couple of drinks.
So, if it's really cold we'll do some virtual tyre kicking from inside the pub! I suspect we'll order food about 12:30-12:45 ish but you should join us when we get there and get yourself something from the 'lighter' selection menu
'Billynomates' as i'm heading down from Bracknell via Guildford with 2 more Elise's and a Copen we're not exactly going via Petworth! So hopefully see you there anyway! Tell ya mates and promote the meet, we'll try and get another great turn out at "The Links" as per the 3rd October meet we had.
*#*If anyone wants to join us for the run from Bracknell to the pub please let me know and i'll get some maps printed up and arrange a meet point!*#*
Cheers, D4V KC (Dave)

In response to the request for a run to the Pub in Liphook.......
Thought we might meet up at "THE POINT" in Bracknell or "The Peel Centre" depending on how you know it.
It's a Bowling and Cinema complex with some superstores. Big free carpark Sunday's and easy to find. Same place as the start of the Bracknell too V.W. meet last month! Meet there between 11:00-11:15
We'll be on the right hand side as you drive into the entrance. There are speed humps, but they're low ones.
Please let me know if your coming along on the drive down. Just so we have an idea of numbers and enough maps. We'll set off at 11:15am sharp!

Lets hope the weathers better than today.

Yeah, perhaps it would be a good idea to do it on the 28th instead Dave.
Adam (DustyC), I fart in your general direction!
We're all still meeting up at Liphook on the 12th and you 'trevors', with your gold medalions can all go off and play together...... So, everyone who's not gonna join the TVR club, see Sunday week i hope.

We got there at 1.30pm in a very dirty Alpina B8,(Had left munich at 7am) and I saw a blue skyline, parked the car and it had gone!
Did you guys have a good lunch?
all the best
adam
There were two yellow Elise's, 1 silver one, a blue Esprit, Cerbera, Tuscan, Fiat Coupe, a Copen and the Skyline there too! We were all sat round the first table on the left when you walk in. We left after 3pm having had some food. Sorry we missed you! You'll have to try and make the next one. Gonna probably make this a regular meet every 4-6 weeks! Hope to see you soon, D4V KC
