i was just mentioning it out of personal preferences and observation really, if you look i think 11 people have said they will go on the calander listing and 44 on the thread about it.


for me the first stop to pistonheads everyday is the forum, and i myself dont usually check the calander that much, but added my name anyway! i think the calander is a better way to show whos going and what car etc.

keep up the fantastic work on the site Ted! keep an eye out for me on the 5th Feb, bright orange clio 182, come and say hi, otherwise i'll try and find you to say hey

if you go to the main thread in general gassing all the info can be found in there, including the postcode, there is a multimap link and you can view the postcode from there

lol you dont like these lists do you? the new calender system was integrated during the list, so it would be hard to integrate this list onto the calender, maybe if people just say from now that they will be going but put their name and what car they will be taking down on the calender list here: www.pistonheads.com/calendar/event.asp?i=1384

As a designer it pains me to see a better solution go to waste. The lists worked great when it was just 30-40 entries, but I don't think anybody can honestly say that 20 posts per page of ~200 names is easy reading? I definitely think in the future we should make use of what is a brilliant feature of PH. Somebody earlier mentioned adding the calendar list at the top of each page too - even that could get huge given the popularity of some events.
