Think I suggested this to a couple of folks at BTaP, how are people fixed for Saturday 20th December? I really don't know Leeds that well, so anyone have ideas for a location? Might be difficult getting a party of us in to eat somewhere, but what do you folks think?

You cannot have a Leeds do without the best looking TVR driver in the region ... and sorry Dr Bert, that does not mean you

I presume by this you mean Chim Girl? Fair comment, so hands up for the 13th then..

Sorry for long post am feeling quite happy

Excellent..

I too have no memory of anything silly at BTaP..

I've no idea at all about hotels and eating/drinking places in Leeds; merely sometimes work here in an office at the north of the city.. Currently looks like I need to be in Cornwall the following day at a rather sensible/ungodly hour, so I may yet stay sober and drive home after the festivities..

Yes, it can happen..

So, more suggestions for venues etc from someone more local than I am..

Erm..

I'll send an email..

Now, can someone that knows the area direct an orange juice drinking southerner hows to get to where we will be from the M1/M621? Anywhere to park close to there? I'm thinking I'll need to stick to the OJ as I'll head back here that night due to an early start the next day to be in Cornwall..

Edited to add: Thanks for sorting the food bookings Jo.. I was hoping someone with some more local knowledge would take over as I'm unable to organise a pissup in a fairly large city right now it would seem..

I will feel perfectly justified in taking the car out for a couple of hours of totally unnecessary mileage on Sunday - so, weather permitting if anyone happens to be out and about and fancies meeting up for a lunch time beer er shandy, give me a shout

Might well join you.. I've a few tweaks planned on the car on Sat that I am sure I will need to test. (Ok, so fitting some kick plates and sorting out the droopy wing mirror don't exactly need a run afterwards, but what the heck?..)

Excellent bacon butties and mugs of tea.. Just what I needed beofre the blatt.. Heard this morning that Rods and I managed to wake the entire block of flats when we left my place in Sheffield.

And I now know what it means when a friend described the Griff 500 as hairy ar5ed..
