Hi everyone, organising a PH's Pub meet 3rd October

Venue: The Links, 82 Portsmouth Rd , Liphook , Hampshire , GU30 7EF.

Well positioned for our particular group of PH's and they will reserve part of the car park for us if we can give accurate numbers. They have a wide selection on the "Specials" menu on a Sunday, including anything from Baguettes through too a Full Roast all at reasonable prices and of course lots of draught beers and soft drinks available.

I've chatted with the manager Debbie and she's very enthusiastic about it. We'll need to start getting there about 12:00-12:30 to avoid loosing reserved parking
It's on the B2070 It's just South of Liphook off the A3. It's about 25 mins south of the pub that we use for the Guildford meet. It's about 30mins north of Portsmouth and 10 minutes west of Haslemere.

Hope to see many of you there, perhaps a few of the POTBIII people will come along?

Good to meet you at POTBIII today, it was a good event, great turnout.

Bummer, shame you can't make the 3rd. Well hopefully we'll make it a fairly regular event 1st Sunday of the month if response is good. Had some positive feedback at todays meet so lets wait and see.

So keep an eye out for it and have a good holiday.

Missed POTB thanks to a totally knackered battery that appeared on Saturday and defied even overnight charging. Annual service this week at Racing Green will sort this and a short list of other fixes required. So October 3 looks promising.

If I get the Griff back from the Alps in one piece I'll see you there.

Anyone driving up from Portsmouth area:
Meet up in Wickham square and take a good drive along the A272 first?

A real shame, you missed a good day out, as you may have worked out by the continued thread on POTBIII. Be good to see you on the 3rd!

Fair enough Mate, have a good time at the Guildford meet on the 12th Sept. Say hello to the guys for me and mention the meeting on the 3rd for us!

Isn't this the same day as the GT's and Tuscans at Brands Hatch?. Would have loved to come to your pub meet but will be at our local circuit instead.

Book me in.
Missed the beach, annual family meet.

Don't think the engine will warm up from Waterlooville to Liphook. May have to go via Wickham, you know, just to prevent condensation in the oil.

Yes, but, in a fit of madness - or was it a tax thing? - the TVR was put in her name.
There is no way I'm turning up in the company car.

Any spare seats going?

more than welcome. Always a room down South babe. Just remember that when I say "come down for dinner time" i mean in the evening, none of this Northern dinner and then tea tripe.
